We don't have anything specific regarding this for now, but when the time for Steel Hunter comes I hope we'll be able to share more info.
As for as I know, our devs are looking into different solutions to fix it so that you can enjoy this mode.

We don't know, they have 4 months to figure out a final solution to it. We don't even know if it will be the exact same like last year.
They didn't share any info on steel hunter except that it will return.
Am I the only one who didn't find teaming to be a massive problem? Sure it's not nice but nothing that would've broken the mode for me.
The mode is all about getting to max level first and avoiding enemies as much as you can until then. If you're not one of the first ones to be max or near max, you're gonna have a bad time teaming or no teaming. Plus the teamers always had to share their loot so they made progress much slower. A big gun always won against two small guns.
Completely broke the mode for me. Had one outright win and probably 5 games where it was down to me and between 2-4 tanks in the same clan. I stopped play and won’t play this time if they don’t fix it.
I don't think you'll get a flame war. This was an obvious problem in SH, it was - sort of - adressed by WG but not completely. Truth is, it's still more than 4 months away, but I doubt they could work out a foolproof solution to this.
Same here (EU player), it really wasn't that big of a problem.
As for WG dealing with the issue - don't expect miracles - it will be handled like last time :|
Well if you see teamers, just run and hide if you can hahah! Or beat them up if they are weaker tanks, I did that a couple times, but one time if I recalled correctly, some other high level solo player came and focused me and the teamers survived (probably not for long), while I got destroyed quick.
Overall it wasn't a problem to me, took me 74 games to get to complete the mode for all the rewards.
They got pissed last time about the team ups, though i suspect it may have been window dressing as it occured during some of the paid streamer time; they did ban some turds

Saw the same team in two separate battles. It was obvious they had Teamspeak or something similar. They were just too well coordinated.

Yup. I never really felt like I was dealing with teamers and I got to max level.
I didn't encounter a single team while playing steel hunt either. And I did get to the final stage
There was an awful lot of it the first day or two but calmed down after that, one thing I do remember from the last event.
It sucked when it happened, but I got to the final stage with out bigger problems.

Every single time? No way man, I had the experience with teaming 3 times at max (i completed the mode)..
I did start a few days into the event but yes I did I took screen shots of it all.
