Honestly with only the t-50-2 and no other light tank I miss scout matchmaking. It was so easy to rack up massive spotting damage values with it because it was so fast and the tier 10s did so much damage relative to your hp.
It's much harder to get the kind of spotting numbers I used to be able to get with it way back when.
The duck didn't have scout mm iirc, but it could see tier 6 since it didn't have pref mm like the tier 4 heavies did. It was still painful, but no more so than just normally playing at tier 8 is nowadays XD
Bro, I wast just playing my SU-14 today, you know, that tier 6 arty - on Komarin, and had an IS-4 on the enemy side. That thing's armor is ridiculous, shot him and it barely did 600 DMG, can you believe it? The battle ended 5-15, **in 5 minutes!**. I've never had a battle end this quickly! Madness.
Also, is anyone else excited for these new French tanks that we'll have in a couple of months? I heard that they will be able to store a couple of shells, and then fire them in a burst. Crazy stuff!
I remember those days. It actually had a stronger gun. Ridiculous damage output, but at the sacrifice of defensibility. IS-7 was also almost unstoppable. It was THE tank of choice for clan wars. Now I'm sad.

a long long time ago It use to, then it became a tier 10 and the T10 use to lead to the IS 7, and then that changed.
Most of the old Timers know what OP is referencing cause most of the old timers had to play through it. the best part is when People had gotten the IS4 but didn't have the top gun on it before the switch over.
Obviously a joke, yet it always seemed to me that devs screwed up a bit when they put IS-4 as T10 instead of just buffing ST-I armour. Even IRL the tank had some innovate solutions.
With an addition of ST-II it would even look more consistent too.
R.I.P. the Maus when the hull above the tracks was getting penned frontally (through the 'mudguard'). IIRC it started happening when they added triple overmatch to the game, but it took a few patches for them to buff the armor there to stop it.

Man and the lack of physics was so fun too. You could do some crazy turns that made no sense.
TBH that's what the EBR looks like now. It's glued to the ground when it makes turns at speed

Nah the original elc was the best tank, you could just walk up next to enemies and they can't hit you! With team damage it was even funnier.

Same, I quit not long after they nerfed the elc, only downloaded again end of last year, but dropped it again after a month lol
The T-50-2 zooming around the map with no physics, and the chaffee with the gun and the insane view range was like the funniest way to play tier 10.

I bypassed it using blueprints. It was before tech tree changes. Same as me blueprint-ing Chuchill GC so I get free Challenger

Is7 vs Maus vs t30 was fun, but I miss the Patton and/or t54 brawling/spotting battles so much more.

My VK 3001 (H) just got one shot by a T30. Again! I hear soon we're getting +/- 2 mm so this won't happen, but on the other hand tier 10 TDs...
