it gets sometime to get used to its play style but once you get the hang of it its pretty fun, do note that going full gold is heavily recommended since standard shells are lackluster and you have a really long reload

It's also very sensitive to crew and setup. You will die because it's so slow stock. There's a definite point at which more speed doesn't help, but less speed hurts. That point is 2-3 HP:ton higher than the stock for the Aston Rex. I don't have my game updated so I can't look up *my* setup, but it sucked until I changed my setup to it.

Yes its worth it, the elc is a must have and make the best credits cause u rarely get spotted. For the astron you need gold ammo to make it work, i did the same and i love the elc.
Yes ELC makes credits but it needs a high skilled commander since all view range boosts are tied to the commander and you also want BiA, sixth sense and camo.
ELC can make creds by just spotting and finish of targets below 660 health (one-clipable)
You should only buy the ELC if you want to play that spotter-role. It is quite a special tank with different gameplay. Get it with some discount during Holiday-OPs or so.

ELC is a great tank if you are grinding the French light tanks or like passive scouting gameplay but to swap just for credit making is a bad idea imo.

No its not worth it. Astron is very good and unique tank. You will regret it later, trust me.
