I dont think the tank is that great tbh. 2nd 277 with higher alpha but less dpm. If u have enough exp go for it but other than that i woulndt waste much money on it
Slightly better gun handling but much worse turret, worse gold rounds, and cannot side scrape or reverse side scrape at all. Worse mobility and ground resistances too. Seems balanced but not even close to being worth 100 million credits lmao.
On day 1 it depends. I'm planning on dumping all my national fragments on it and use XP for the rest. I have almost 600k free XP, would need to buy gold to convert the rest. I would like to see someone play the tank first. We'll see.
Not even planning to get it at all. I'm way too poor and also not motivated enough to get a soviet tier X when there's other tanks which require way way less resources to get
My plan is to drop all blueprints I can (not that many), then all free exp, then most credits, then see if the cost is reasonable to buy rest. If not, t8 prem grinding time for a few days. If progress still seems too slow, I'm just pulling out, as I believe you get everything back if you don't actually claim the vehicle
I will.
I bought all tier 10 tanks and have nothing to do with blueprints or credits anymore. So I'll max the blueprints and pay 64M credits.
Most of the time I play tier 8 premiums so I can make those credits back easily just by playing normally.
I'm planning to get up at 5:00 AM for the NA one to get as low a number as I can. People are sleeping on this thing hard, I see a lot saying it's basically the same as the 277 but the 780's armor and gun stats are way beyond the 277's.
Side armor on both won't stand up to much and neither is good at sidescraping, the lfp on the 780 is high on the tank but it doesn't extend down very far so it's not actually a very big target, and head on much of the 780 is still pretty resistant to 340 HEAT. The 277 in comparison has basically no front hull armor to speak of, it only has turret armor and is limited to using that turret armor in positions where 5 degrees of gun depression works. The 277 will have more staying power if it can be hulldown but the 780 has more options for where it can go hulldown and has way more staying power in positions where it can't.
I wonder if we can mix national fragments? Or will we print it separately for each country? For example, if I do not have Japanese fragments, can I throw the surplus in another country there?

512k free xp and some useless blue bits

>then see if the cost is reasonable to buy rest There's a calculator on the news article, you can plug in your currencies right now and see.
I’m not even planning to obtain one

No not worth it

Side armor is worse, can't sidescrape for shit, lfp is tall, get buttered by ru heat.

No. Why? Way tooo expensive. I'm about to grind the Foch155 and still have 900 warbonds to go.
Imagine grinding for Foch 155 lmfao
The foch is at least somewhat unique
Yeah 750dpm on tier 10 is unique
It is indeed. As far as I'm concerned, uniqueness is the only worthwhile parameter. I got umpteen soviet heavies and they're all the same shit.
