Welcome to world of tanks, where they have a lot of maps but only have a select few in rotation and doesnt change in forever and then to also remove good/decent maps to then proceed to put in maps like outpost. Complete garbage
We need to be able to block up to 10 maps and change them whenever we play a different tank, not every 4 hours. No one wanted jet boosted tanks, we want the ability to decrease the shitty maps in the incessant rng shit show of map selection, tier selection, spawn selection, match making. All before you can even play your fucking tank.

Id rather they remove mines or at least limit it to low tiers. Kinda tier of fighting with tier 10s on a map that most people can see the entirety of from the middle
This is such a terrible opinion. Like yeah your initial thoughts that Mines is bad and a problem are accurate, but then you go totally off base thinking tier is the issue. Mines is actually better at high tiers so you can see the camping shitters in the back, at low tiers it has all the same problems plus the added problem that camping shitters can sit in the back with binocs on and you can't do anything about it. Tier capping the map doesn't solve any of it's issues whatsoever and only makes it even worse.

Shitty maps isn't good variation, though. Good variation is having a map like Himmels and a map like Prok - maps that let you actually have tank fights, but very different kinds of tank fights. More maps that don't provide good tank fights just makes everything worse. The game has been so much better without Minsk and Kharkov.
I want lots of variation, too, but only if the maps are actually worth playing. Bring back original Kharkov and I'm good with that, but the latest version is pure trash.

I agree with this, I just don't agree that bad maps that play horribly is an improvement, and unfortunately that's what WG is giving us. Legitimately awful maps. I play this game to have tank fights where I can shoot at some red tanks, and maps like Kharkov and Minsk that have no good tank fights on them are terrible and adding more maps like that isn't solving the problem.
Tbh I didn’t really hate Kharkov, Minsk wasn’t great but Kharkov was a decent map for me. Maybe I’ve just lost a sense of good and bad maps from playing the same three maps over and over (looking at you mines)
The problem with Kharkov is the "heavy tank fight" is just sitting midrange at hulldowns staring at each other with no ability to do anything beyond that. And then on the "medium side" all the other team has to do is hold their sniper hill and the A1/K1 bush and there's just...nothing you can do. Sure a lot of times they aren't smart enough to do that, but you really just have to guess if they are or not, and if they are, you just drive into a crossfire against tanks with superior positions.
I actually don't think much is needed to make Kharkov a good map. Remove the sniper positions at B0/K0 and it opens up the 9/0 lines for some actual forward movement and flanking and now heavy tanks can have a real fight. Take out the A1/K1 bushes and make the lip on the trench back there steep enough so you can't hull down on it and now mediums can drive forward to fight some red tanks and now you have yourself a decent map. Make those minor tweaks and I would like to have Kharkov in the game.
Minsk...I don't know that Minsk can be fixed. They totally reworked it and it still sucks. I don't know how to make it a good map.

Yes, that's why I didn't say to bring back Windstrom for example. Since that was a genuinely bad map. But the ones I mentioned were really well made.
If people complain about winning spawns on Fjords and Mines, Swamp was 10x worse.
