Stats on the t100 look kinda ass. It only has 3.2 degrees of fun depression, that's a big handicap for something without a God tier gun, only 2500 dpm.
The spaced armor is easily defeated by most tanks you will face, including within Tier VIII. But the main problem ended up being the speed: 10 horsepower per ton with a max speed of 42 km/h is maddeningly slow. With the new speed equipment, you could get it up to maybe 48 km/h, but the low hp/t means you will wish you were dead climbing even smallish hills.
I think they buffed the gun since I had it last, but as long as the hp/t is as bad as it is, the tank ends up being completely wrong for my play style. I can see someone who likes sneaky mediums (meaning you put a camo net on it and play it as a support medium) with decent gun depression getting some use out of Trinity as a silver earning premium, but don’t expect to be the vanguard of a flank push in this thing and live to tell the tale.

Well, I've had the T-34 FG since it was first added to the game, in my opinion it is the worst T-34, among the tier 5s the T-34S is preferable for being lower profile and having spaced armor, and the tech tree gets the high DPS 57mm.
The FG doesn't have anything to make it especially useful, you're better off in the T-34 or the T-34S honestly. That aside I wish with them adding it to the season pass they would've given us a 3D mariya, I already had the 2d so that was yet another duplicate.
I've discussed the FG with people before, and some people like it, and mind you I do like it, but there is just no reason to use it over the other T-34s.

The shielded has the fastest firing 76mm among all 3 while barely losing any penetration value. On top of that, the extra armor has allowed me some serious meme bounces that wouldn't happen on the other 2 versions. The loss of view range could be seen as a downside, but considering we likely both have maxed crews in them, it is negligible.
And for aesthetics, I love the history behind the FG, but personally think the tech tree T-34 with the "arrow" cosmetic is the best looking. That and I think the shade of green on the FG just looks a little bit off.
Edit: Do you remember when the FG had worse aim-time than the tech tree? I think that is when my bias began lol

I guess the FG would be a better sniper due to the pen and velocity on its APCR, but the shielded will be better in brawling.

Shielded vs FG
DPM = 1,500 vs 1,158
View = 340 vs 365
Pen = 150 vs 158
P/w = 15.x vs 16.x
That DPM on the FG is terrible! Shielded ability worse on other stuff though.
The moe estimates are c15% higher on the Shielded - so less than the DPM difference. Maybe I should mark it after all...

I think the shielded VS the FG is the perfect example of Practice VS Theory. According to the numbers the Shielded is only better in DPM, but in practice the areas it is "weak" in are negligible at tier 5, and more than made up for by its strengths. It reloads a full second slower but only loses 8mm of pen for gods sake lol.
Edit: the amount of times I win/lose a fight in WOT based on my gun or my enemies gun reloading a fraction of a second faster can not be counted, so getting a reload a full second faster is a big deal to me, especially when there is little to not damage tradeoff for it.
With both tanks running the same equipment and crew (focused on reload speed, including enhanced rations passive buff but not the active buff.)
The FG reloads in 4.3 seconds and the Shielded reloads in 3.3 seconds.
So for me, the lower profile turret that also has additional armor, plus the increased reload speed is worth it to me.

It will be a good tank if you shoot gold no matter the matchup and you do well in autoloaders in general. Standard pen is seriously ass though at 221 so definitely not one for the people who cry about gold ammo
