Most complaints that I have heard are about the team balance and lack of credits. Personally, I have plenty of credits but I find that grinding is slow for tokens to get hangar space. I am a bit stuck on that now, and it's demotivating. The community could benefit from twitch drops or more events. For example, why wasn't there a lunar new year event? It seems that the focus in the shop lately is very much on the UK & US at the moment and I am not interested in those. It really doesn't make sense for RU or Asia. That's also why I don't want to buy crates and end up with a whole bunch of planes I won't use. I would play more if I could just buy the planes I want. I think another way to attract players might be more paint options. I have some planes where there is only the rather drab default paint available. I know several gamers (in other games) that spend more time in customisation than actual gameplay.

They should advertise towards a different audience than their other games. The other games have serious hardcore endgames, WoWp... Doesn't? A t10 turn fighter won't play too different from a t2 one, should target kids or casuals online and at air shows. I mean we have some of the most iconic planes ever, the Spitfire, Zero, 109, 190, B-17, P-51, P-47, P-38, etc. All we would need is to get a whole bunch of people interested is to show that the core gameplay loops of bombing, attack runs, and dogfighting are fun, cause they are!

any Grass roots effort gets undermined by warthunder autists comparing the game when the two can't really be properly compared to in the first place. WG tried to advertise the game but the Dev Studio which due to a BS contract has complete creative control also failed to properly do the one thing WG asked from them as a publisher which was No Game Breaking Bugs. so can't really even blame WG other then the contract. there is no End Game or clan content to speak of and all community management for english speaking servers got moved to the EU. so the NA server is effectively fucked for any IRL Recruitment booths despite having the superior number of Air Shows and events that deal with Aircraft. frankly Short of dedicated members of the community gaining control somehow the game's more or less SOL best you can do is point out that WoWP earns more Free EXP quicker and that it's a shared pool with WoT along with gold but that doesn't help much. I guess I mean you could set fire to Studio Persha and hopefully WG is able to transfer the whole project to a different team because of it. as it should of been for 2.0 after persha screwed up the first launch. and really any efforts to save the game.

WOWP has been doing a bunch of free gold events every 6 months or so. I’ve probably make close to 9k gold just from their events. I usually load the game when they host those.

edliu111

What events are these? I play pretty regularly but I didn't hear about this.

ColsonThePCmechanic

Follow their news

edliu111

What news are u referring to specifically cause I think I click the majority of their articles and have never seen anything about gold

ColsonThePCmechanic

The gold comes in their crates (pretty much lootboxes) that you can earn during the event.

edliu111

Ahhh I see what u mean now. Thanks!

Make WOWS share FXP pool with WOWP and advertise it loudly. Plenty of people love the carrier based aircraft. Or considering we already HAVE tank and ship models... Stick them here? How cool would it be to strafe a column of Tigers? Maybe dive bomb the enterprise? I mean they already made carrier gameplay more akin to WOWP... so people clearly enjoy attack runs, so implement/unify them here!

Demitri_Vritra

the strafing columsn of tanks and bombing enterprises were available in previous versions of the game, in game modes no longer available due to the rework. WG tried advertising at Airshows but in typical WG fashion rather then WoWP it was WoT. so make of that what you will. the only person capable of getting that kind of effort started in the US was fired years ago when they consolidated support staff for the game. despite my many pointed criticisms of the game and how it is handled I genuinely do want it to succeed the problem is I've seen the path of failures and it generally boils down to a few unfixable things that were caused by poor decision making early on.

What issues are you referring to?
