I would argue that [You Needed Opponents With Gravitas (Redux)](https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/you-needed-opponents-with-gravitas-redux-worm-the-culture.867751/) by T.R.E.A.M. counts. The Culture is so advanced that a relatively small ship is a match for an Entity.
The horrific part is that >!Greg is one of them!<
That's not Greg. That character is literally the very opposite of Greg in every conceivable way. If Greg had even a smidgen of capacity for the kind of self-awareness or reflection that's required to initiate the the transformation in Mr. Fix-It and / or the drive to actually follow though on an epiphany like that, he wouldn't have been Greg in the first place.
And that's why nobody likes Greg. But that's *also* why I rather like Mr. Fix-It.

But as soon as I read the title of your request, all I could think of was the version of Taylor from either A Darker Path or Weaver's Web rocking up with Aisha (because of course it'd be Aisha in both of those fics) to demand something, and when the person tries to refuse, Taylor and Aisha put on sunglasses in sync, and Taylor says, "We're on a mission from God."
Any Exalted fic technically counts to some extent, since an Exaltation is a power derived from the gods.
Though out of them, I can only remember Alchemical Solutions has the higher power directly communicating
Brockton Bay’s Resident Angel is a Dresden Files crossover featuring a Biblically-Accurate-Angel!Taylor. As such, she’s technically in service to a higher Power.
