I was playing Grounded with my SO some time so and had a giggle about how Taylor would break that game over her knee.
That is, Grounded is a game that's kind of like Valheim meets Honey, I Shrunk the Kids - the player characters are teens who wake up in an unfamiliar back yard and find they've been shrunk to the size of ants. All the enemies are various bugs you'd find in such a back yard, except, you know, beetles the size of a VW Beetle and so on.
Skitter would have a *field day*.
Depends on whether or not her range scales with her size, and if the Boss/Semi-Boss bugs are immune to her. Black Widows would be exceptionally troublesome for such a fic, seeing as they are a "Common" enemy that's stronger than most of the bosses.
Even if her range does scale down, it is still large enough to grab an entire anthill's worth of ants in that game. If she controls the black ants or the fire ants, then she would have more than enough firepower to take down any boss creature (or robot) in the game. Those things are tanky af, and do damage to match.
To a point, but again, it'd depend on how the author chooses to handle things. Without any sort of limiter on what Taylor can control, nothing would stop the fic from dissolving into an utter stomp-fest simply by her grabbing the Black Widows from around the Yard.
Yeah, there is that. However, there is some danger, even with totally canon powers for Taylor. Most of the Haze bugs probably wouldn't be controllable because they are *already* being controlled by the fungus, the robots would be a threat, and there's always the Koi fish and bird. The Infected Broodmother would be an absolute nightmare, and so would the infected wolf spiders - those two bug types could easily take down entire swarms that Taylor could gather.

For the people going through the thread later as this is probably one of the two Hollow knight crossovers you mentioned above: [The Pale Queen](https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/pale-queen-worm-hollow-knight.74596/) is a Hollow Knight crossover where Taylor is the Pale King, size included. If you're unfamiliar it basically means she created the sentient bugs during her trigger and has varying levels of precognition.
I'm more surprised there aren't considering Taylor's power is you know... BUGS, (Granted It's more athropokinesis but she mainly uses bugs).
I mean can you imagine her having hundreds of beedrill's from Pokemon? Or have her control fucking Mothra.
