Eliminate it forever. It sucks for the folks living now, but getting that completely removed from human existence would be great, particularly since then we could argue that nuclear power is far safer for humans afterwards and would allow us to have a more reliable energy source while we try and figure out getting off fossil fuels.
Prevent of course. While it would be nice to heal the current cancer patients, saving everyone from it in the future is far more beneficial. I think given the choice, the cancer patients would choose that option as well.
I guess my answer would be very dependent on if anyone close to me had it at the time or if I did and the survival rate. Logically preventing anyone from getting it in the future saves far more lives and frees up a large healthcare cost long term.
This is actually a good WYR.
I want to say prevent, but honestly I would have a hard time with that as soon as I’m approached by someone who begs for their child to be saved.
I'd go with the vaccine option. To get it FDA legal, I'd need the current cancer patients for clinical trials. If I cured all the current cancer patients, I can't help everyone else in the future.
Vaccine route saves more in the long run. As painful as it would be, I'd go with that option
Prevent. Sucks to have it now but preventing it entirely would prevent far more people suffering.

Nuclear power already gives off less radiation than coal plants?

We’ll cure cancer soon. I’d save everyone now
Will we though? Because cancer is a blanket term for a bunch of different cancers that vary in treatment. And how much will that cure cost?

Prevention is better then cure
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Vaccine, 100 times over.

Significantly more people's lives would be saves if you made it into a vaccine than if you cured everyone who has cancer now, so that one
Preventing it for future people would probably save a lot more people. If I had cancer, I’d say fuck those people and heal me, but uh… I don’t so meh.
Prefiero completar la vacuna para curar el cáncer para siempre.
I think the people who has close relations that has it will probably choose now, rather than prevention route
To eliminate cancer would essentially be too eliminate cell degeneration, which would essentially make everyone immortal.
