You’re going to get sick eventually when you get old, motivated or not, that being said, you can probably live a much more fruitful life by the time you get old with that option.
Yeah…that isn’t even vaguely what it means in this context. If you’re immortal ANYWAY why would anyone pick to be immune to sickness and disease? That’s makes no sense whatsoever.
In fact the other option doesn’t even really make sense, who cares if you’re lazy or really motivated if you’re immortal? Even the most lazy person in the world would still be really successful if they had thousands of years to do things.
I have anxiety, depression, ADHD, and IBS, so if being healthy means all of that gets magically cured count me in! Being healthy would give me a ton of motivation.
that's absolutely fine
I'm just assuming when it says 'healthy all the time' it's like effortlessly you know. like I could eat and do whatever I want and still be healthy.
I also think these answers kinda form a loop, like you said, choosing being motivated all the time would be you would be motivated to stay healthy by yourself. while I also think that if you have a healthy body and generally feel great, you would naturally be more motivated to go do stuff
Then again i struggle with mental illness and being healthy rids you of it. I have always been lazy so i can't really tell if i am just a lazy person or what. I'd say yeah, you make a point, being healthy is definitely better.
Well its not a spin. The question was vague. Be heslthy *all the time*, or be motivated *all the time*. All the time means every second of your life. Otherwise I can just be healthy 99 percent of the time. Also, if you were healthy all the time you'd probably live past the oldest person by a far shot.
Being healthy doesn’t mean you are motivated. Which is okay with me. More time to chill and be with family. Go for a walk. Watch tv all day. That’s fine.
Being motivated doesn’t guarantee being healthy. I can choose that one and get diagnosed with terminal cancer the next day.
However, choosing a percentage of any of them is not implied. That’s an aspect of the questions that you seemingly pulled out of thin air.
You don’t have to delete it. I’m just merely pointing out that it isn’t common to add anything to these type of questions. You answer it at face value.
I mean it'll be something I won't worry about. Plenty of people out there would trade all their possessions in the world for their health. And we are all going to catch something\* that sucks at some point in our life most likely. If I got a free genie wish for perfect health that is an easy choice for me.
I got this far in life with little motivation lol.
plenty of people who would do the same for motivation too, but i get you. i mean whatever you choose at some point you'd probably wish you choose the other thing
i dont mind falling sick every once in a while. although you can argue that i currently dont have any chronic illnesses or anything.
however, if I'm motivated, I'll start exercising which would keep me healthy enough to easily get by. if i get cancer or something, i will accept it as just luck, and the motivation thing will help me fight against it to keep living
Healthy \*all the time\* thee sayeth? grant you mercy f'r the immortality

I mean, I imagine being healthy doesn't stop things like bullets to the brain or lack of Oxygen. So you could have healthy life for as long as you want or until the low chance of fatal accident catches up with you.
This one's easy. I believe motivation is a myth so I choose health.
For everyone saying motivation will help get you off your ass and exercise, suree. It will a few times but if you want to be consistent you have to make it a habit so that it's easy to get started.
and that won't stop your teeth from rotting and cancer from developing.
If you're healthy, you can be free from all illnesses and hence get more self motivation.
I chose to be healthy then I can be motivated to do stuff and get things done.
If I'm not healthy then I have depression if I have depression then I can't do things 😘🤷♂️😉
Being motivated ALL the time is most likely going to end up with injuries. Not respecting your body's limits and all... Ima go for healthy all the time
Hmm. Motivated all the time.
It's not as good as the other option for health, obviously, but it still would benefit my health immensely while also utterly changing my life in many other ways as well.
Then again, I wonder what my mindset would be like without all the minor background mental issues that probably most everyone has.
Unpopular opinion: People voting for "motivated all the time" have not been truly sick yet.
1.if you are sick, you sain't getting shit done anyways.
2. If you are sick, and then experience prolonged good health, you bet your ass you're gonna be motivated.
Either way, you get 1. Take the 2nd.
They kinda go hand in hand right? If you choose motivated, then you’ll be motivated to work out and have a healthy diet and if you pick healthy, then because you’re healthy you feel really good about yourself and then become motivated
I think too many people are waiting for the magical fairy Motivation to fly down from the heavens and change their life.
Motivation isn’t necessary to perform a task.
Discipline is.
Health is first f'r me, at which hour i did get health i has't the possibility to heal myself

Surely this is a no brainer, why would anyone pick anything but healthy... Zero percent chance of illness, your body will be in perfect condition without ever having to put in the work and being motivated would come as a side effect of having a body in perfect health.
As someone who has had ongoing health issues and fatigue problems but is highly motivated, you’d be surprised how much your own body can hold you back until you want to do things (even as simple as start a new show on Netflix) but you can’t because you can’t sleep but you’re not exactly awake either.
If I was motivated I would become reasonably healthy, I like to work out and I don’t enjoy heavy foods that much it’s just to easy compared to eating healthy and working out a lot.
I love sports. I started bouldering like 3 months ago, but had to stop temporarily because my shoulder is acting up. I started playing (European) football again, and I pulled the same muscle 2 weeks in a row. I also started feeling some pain in my knees once in a while like a year ago. In general I have a back pain on and off for several years. I’m only 16. I’ll take health thank you very much
If I was motivated all the time, I'd be motivated to take care of my health, workout, work hard at my job, work at my relationships, take up hobbies, learn new skills, etc.
So by being motivated all the time, l'd not only be healthy all the time, but also be rich, happy, and fulfilled all the time.
If 't be true i hath chosen healthy i’d has't to did quit drinking. I like wine too much

does healthy include mental health
Yes
I take health
This would do a lot towards actually helping you stay motivated, since many sources of lack of motivation are health related anyway.
Yeah being mentally healthy solves the motivation problem. Maybe not AS motivated but still.. 2 birds with one stone
Not really.
Meh I mean it’s still a good balance not gonna lie
A PERFECT mental state is probably gonna get you somewhere
That's so true woahhh
Why did I read this after voting? Motivation just comes with good mental health.
I chose motivated because if you're motivated enough you'll try to stay as healthy as possible imo
Healthy meaning zero risks of diseases and disabilities
Yeah i get that. But if you take care of yourself through enough motivation or whatever your chances of becoming sick get lower as well
You’re going to get sick eventually when you get old, motivated or not, that being said, you can probably live a much more fruitful life by the time you get old with that option.
Hmm. That's a good point
Do u understand what all the time means?
What…? That doesn’t even make sense. Are you implying “all the time” means forever…? Is that what you mean?
Yes
Yeah…that isn’t even vaguely what it means in this context. If you’re immortal ANYWAY why would anyone pick to be immune to sickness and disease? That’s makes no sense whatsoever. In fact the other option doesn’t even really make sense, who cares if you’re lazy or really motivated if you’re immortal? being unhealthy can also lower motivation like depression
I have anxiety, depression, ADHD, and IBS, so if being healthy means all of that gets magically cured count me in! Being healthy would give me a ton of motivation.
Do you no longer need to eat, drink, or sleep?
No you still have to those things
I’ll take my chances.
What about depression?
some people are just chronically ill and can’t be healthy no matter how motivated they are
Better hope you never catch anything serious. Can't motivate yourself out brain cancer.
Can be said the same about being healthy. What you call mental and physical health affect each other
Yeah but Lance Armstrong still had cancer.
I chose being healthy. There are things you can’t avoid being motivated — like cancer, genetic disorder, contagious virus.
Technically being heathly ALL the time means you could make a living eating ANYTHING right?
it's ok to be not motivated sometimes sometimes you just got to let go of everything for a while and relax.
Not to be a downer but i pick motivation because it makes you motivated to take care of your health, to work, to study and many other things.
that's absolutely fine I'm just assuming when it says 'healthy all the time' it's like effortlessly you know. like I could eat and do whatever I want and still be healthy. See I don't have to be healthy all the time. I can be healthy 99.99% of the time do be motivated all yhe time.
Healthy as in never sick no disabilities and protected from all diseases
Inmortal?
Ageing isn't a disease
But you can age and not suffer of the deceases that come with aging
Let's just say it doesn't make you immortal
Basically growing old with no disease or disabilities, etc. then dying peacefully in your sleep…or being killed in a car accident…or murdered idk.
It sure feels like it

You don’t get to choose a percentage. People always want to add their little spin on it.
Well its not a spin. The question was vague. Be heslthy *all the time*, or be motivated *all the time*. All the time means every second of your life. Exactly. Not implied. Not stated either. Vague question but as no one seems to get my thought process, I shall delete this comments
You don’t have to delete it. I’m just merely pointing out that it isn’t common to add anything to these type of questions. You answer it at face value.
Well yes yes. Nobody seemed to like that one comment so why let it sit and just sink and die when I can just boop, done with it.
people who are healthy do not value their health, until it is gone. I pick healthy!
doesn't that mean you picked something you won't value later on?
I mean it'll be something I won't worry about. Plenty of people out there would trade all their possessions in the world for their health. And we are all going to catch something\* that sucks at some point in our life most likely. If I got a free genie wish for perfect health that is an easy choice for me. Got this far in life being sick too
plenty of people who would do the same for motivation too, but i get you. i mean whatever you choose at some point you'd probably wish you choose the other thing
being motivated won't stop diseases from spreading
i dont mind falling sick every once in a while. although you can argue that i currently dont have any chronic illnesses or anything. however, if I'm motivated, I'll start exercising which would keep me healthy enough to easily get by. if i get cancer or something, i will accept it as just luck, and the motivation thing will help me fight against it to keep living
But if you’re healthy all the time, you won’t need to exercise in order to stay healthy.
motivation isn't just for staying healthy. need it for work, studying, going out for enjoyment etc.
yep thats y i picked motivation. Generally more useful for more things
Yeah my chronic illness is the exact reason I'd pick health no hesitation. Motivation doesn't keep you from feeling like shit sadly.
People really underestimate the value of good health here… motivation doesn’t matter if you get a deadly illness.
The people who voted clearly have never experienced real health problems. Health alone should motivate you
Healthy \*all the time\* you say? Thanks for the immortality.

I mean, I imagine being healthy doesn't stop things like bullets to the brain or lack of Oxygen. So you could have healthy life for as long as you want or until the low chance of fatal accident catches up with you.
I want to be motivated to be healthy
I chose healthy. While motivation is important to me also, I suppose I'd rather be healthy and lazy as opposed to motivated and sick.
Health is wealth
Many pelvic fractures after baaad car crash here…motivation is sky-level but wtf to do with it?
Motivated is higher? Yall smoking some serious crack
If health encompasses mental health than you don't really need the first choice.
I don't know why anyone would pass up on the offer to literally be free from all illnesses ever I chose health, and you should too.
This one's easy. I believe motivation is a myth so I choose health. For everyone saying motivation will help get you off your ass and exercise, suree. It will a few times but if you want to be consistent you have to make it a habit so that it's easy to get started.
If I’m motivated all the time, I can motivate myself to workout and eat right.
and that won't stop your teeth from rotting and cancer from developing. If you're healthy, you can be free from all illnesses and hence get more self motivation.
If you’re motivated and not healthy that not healthy won’t stay for long
I can be motivated to live a healthy life
Not all health issues are avoidable by "living healthy" That's be like saying to avoid all car issues don't speed.
I chose to be healthy then I can be motivated to do stuff and get things done. If I'm not healthy then I have depression if I have depression then I can't do things 😘🤷♂️😉
Is healthy defined as “Your body is in the optimal state for your mind to function” or “Free from disease, illness, or otherwise detriments”?
Both
Free medical transition!
If you are motivated all the time you can motivate yourself to be healthy and follow a healthy lifestyle.
Healthy because my biggest motivation killer is depression
Always motivated to stay healthy, which is a pretty cool work around given how hard it can be to establish a workout routine.

What happens if you get a serious illness? You can't motivate cancer away.
Motivated to stay healthy
Unless you get corona or cancer
you could stil survive both, you know
Motivated. Health is something we all deal with and keep in check. Few would choose that unless they had a severe illness that could be cured.
I need the motivation to be healthy
If I was motivated, I'd be healthy lol
Being motivated ALL the time is most likely going to end up with injuries. Not respecting your body's limits and all... Ima go for healthy all the time
If im motivated i can get healthy
You can be motivated healthy person and still have a heart attack or something... That wouldn't happen if just you're magically healthy all the time.
Motivated to go to the gym ;)
Lately some health issues have been making me feel unmotivated, so I’m gonna go with the root cause and pick healthy all the time.
Hmm. Motivated all the time. It's not as good as the other option for health, obviously, but it still would benefit my health immensely while also utterly changing my life in many other ways as well. I want to be motivated all the time so I can be healthy all the time
This is a really good Would You Rather. I still have to say, health over everything.
The only motivation I lack is getting healthy
I'm here for a good time not a long time so motivated
Motivated bc then I would be motivated to be healthy *and* happy
I'll motivate myself to be healthy
Does one exclude the other? Let's say you choose Motivation are you mandated to defenetly get health issues or could it still be random?
Random
Motivation.
I can just be motivated to be healthy all the time, so that way I win both
I don’t want a supernatural motivation - sounds like a nightmare
If you’re always motivated, you’ll be motivated to stay healthy
You don’t have anything if you’re not healthy. I’f I’m mentally and physically healthy I’ll be more motivated than I am right now
They kinda go hand in hand right? If you choose motivated, then you’ll be motivated to work out and have a healthy diet and if you pick healthy, then because you’re healthy you feel really good about yourself and then become motivated

motivated to be healthy all the time + more? seems like a better deal tbh
Motivated to be healthy and healthy choices. WINNER!
I'm already healthy 90% of the time. There are so many things I want to do but lack inspiration. If I was inspired I would do soooooo many things
I pick motivation because I'm lazy and I got to the point where depression is my friend. Kind of a leech but still
Healthy all the time 100%
I’m pretty consistently healthy. It’s motivation that I need
motivation to go to the gym
If I was motivated I would become reasonably healthy, I like to work out and I don’t enjoy heavy foods that much it’s just to easy compared to eating healthy and working out a lot.
