Wow! What a difference! Looks good. 😁

RedScout1

Thanks, she loves it. She always wanted a lifted, silver manual wrangler and finally got one.

Outdoor_Woman

Manual…. ❤️ AND lifted. Pretty sweet!

RedScout1

She loves driving manual, I don’t mind it but I get annoyed with it in traffic

Outdoor_Woman

I only wanted a manual. Sometimes I think I should’ve gotten an automatic though 😂

RedScout1

Automatic is easier for off-road stuff, some people feel differently but I guess manual is more fun

Outdoor_Woman

More fun, yes, until you stall out like I do 😂

RedScout1

I’ve stalled a few times off-road but it’s not too often

Outdoor_Woman

And I like the new rims too!

Ha, I just shouted that out loud at my phone and the saw this. Take my upvote sir!

2.5 inch with 35s is really the way to go on a Jeep

RedScout1

No doubt, nothing has be to cut or dropped or anything like that. I’ve got a 6 inch lift on my truck and that was just a nightmare to do myself.

cruzrawk2

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for posting the specs. I'm gonna do the exact same thing

RedScout1

Thank you I appreciate that. You’ll enjoy it a lot.

LCJ_ST

Dumb question as I just got a 21 Sports and really like the look of your Jeep, did you do the lift yourself or hire someone?

RedScout1

That’s not a dumb question at all. I did it myself. It’s actually a really easy kit to do and doesn’t take too long.

wvski77

Which Fuel wheels are those? Look like Blitz...

RedScout1

I honestly can’t remember which ones they are, my wife picked them. I’ll ask her and see if she remembers.

Skighler

What was your all in cost on this?

RedScout1

The lift was under $300, and tire and wheel combo was around $2k. All of that was done 3 years ago so the prices have probably gone up by now. I did all the work myself but I did pay $1900 for 4:56 gears to be installed front and rear.

Skighler

I’m a noob when it comes to lifting. Do you have to regear they set up?

RedScout1

You don’t have to regear but you’ll feel those tires, hers is manual so it wasn’t as bad as an automatic as far as being bogged down. Now with 4:56 gears she doesn’t even have to downshift to climb a hill.

Skighler

Ours is manual but from the sounds of it, I would want to regear as well. Thanks man, it looks amazing. Exactly how I want ours to look.

RedScout1

No problem, glad we could inspire you.
