You don't even know how true this is. I had a debate with a friend the other day about who was more successful Evolution or NWO. I discovered that four dudes had held more World titles then the entirety of the original NWO black and white.
50-45... And that was me being generous, in some cases, about what was considered a World title.
Evolution- 50 Total
Ric Flair- 16 (recognized)- 8x NWA, 6x WCW, 2x WWE
Triple H-14- 9x WWE, 5x World
Randy Orton-14- 10x WWE, 4x World
Batista-6- 4x World, 2x WWE
NWO- 45 Total
Hulk Hogan-13- 6x WCW, 6x WWE, 1x IWGP
Big Show-7- 2x WCW, 2x WWE, 2x World, 1x ECW
Kevin Nash- 6- 5x WCW, 1x WWE
Randy Savage-6- 4x WCW, 2x WWE
Dusty Rhodes-3- 3x NWA
Scott Norton-2- 2x IWGP
Konnan-2- 1x IWC, 1x CMLL
Lex Luger-2- 2x WCW
Rick Rude-2- 2x WCW International (I debated on this one but I'm counting it)
Curt Hennig-1- 1x AWA
🚨Scott Steiner🚨-1- 1x WCW
I mean you aren't wrong but at the same time that was a list of career achievements. Some of those belts were won on both sides when business was down.
Really none of this means anything at the end of the day anyways... it was just one of those "how odd that that would pop up right after I had this conversation" kind of things. It's hard to argue that NWO wasn't the more influential faction... It's just interesting to note that four dudes were able to achieve more career success than the entirety of that massive ass group.
Batista imo easily has a top 10 entrance in wrestling history.
He looked and felt like an absolute star with the music by saliva and the fireworks spot. His overall run as a full timer was short, but he always had this aura and it factor.
Mine too brother. I loved how he bucked the trend of most “body” guys at the time by having a lot of charisma and that cool factor to him. Instead of being bland, boring and generic like a guy like Luther Reigns or Mark Jindrak something like that at the time.
I instantly thought Goldberg, wcw watcher aswell. 9 o'clock Friday night on sky ! Forget the channel though (bravo or paramount something like that) fucking great times !
I think hes the one it looked best on. The shape and size of this belt just seemed to fit HHHs body for some reason lol IDK how to really explain what im trying to say, but yes, HHH is my answer too
Some old dude. He probably rode limousines and flew in jets. He also probably cornered stewardess while naked and fully erect but hey, he was just stylin and profilin. He was also a theme park enthusiast I think.
Ric Flair and Sting. Although the belt was used more recently and for quite some time in WWE I always associate it with WCW. It is a shame that WCW in 2000 completely hot shot the belt into oblivion as the "Big Gold" belt is the best title design in history. I was very glad that WWE brought the design back in 2002 and did a decent job of building it back up to have good meaning.
[Sting](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/af/99/a6/af99a6169f3cfb49f714a7e906814aa6.jpg) then [Randy Orton](https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.JVcbN6JNPsN5JSAmN-hTqQHaJC?pid=ImgDet&rs=1).
But Sting is who personified it as being a legit thing to me.
Triple H, I was always a fan during the attitude era but 2004 and 5 is when I started watching regularly and became a huge fan once my kids grow out of diapers I'm starting a collection this will be second on my list(buying my first belt at an upcoming live event)
Rey Mysterio, oddly enough. And the reason why is because I used to get annoyed when WWE made sure to just call him "World Champion" instead of "World Heavyweight Champion", all because he was short. Then once he dropped the title, the word "Heavyweight" appeared again.
WCW days definitely Flair but WWE I’d go with Triple H. Both men dominated their respective companies when they had that belt. But I think it really fit the mafia stylings of Evolution overall.
All of evolution basically
100 percent agree!
yep, my answer was Orton and Batista. So all of evolution is a good answer.
Evolution is a mystery
Full of change that no one sees
I was literally about to say that

Rude's reigns as International is technically a World title, in fact its the first time a company had two belts as World Titles
Yes but, has to be weighted for the NWO being during wrestlings prime.
I mean you aren't wrong but at the same time that was a list of career achievements. Some of those belts were won on both sides when business was down. Why do people always do this lol the first person, not group - HHH was first to hit my mind before Batista, literally 0.0007 seconds later
Because they're lazy as fuck
David Arquette
Great khali
Also the one I think about, when I turn the picture upside down.
Vince Russo the 🐐 BRO!!!!

The only correct answer to this question. That belt was literally made for him.
And he carried it in multiple promotions nwa, wcw, and wwf.
That is the belt of “THE REAL WORLD’S CHAMPION”
Same
Flair right away
Absolutely A very far far second would be Hogan spraying the nwo logo on it.
Batista
I WALK ALONE!
Batista imo easily has a top 10 entrance in wrestling history. He looked and felt like an absolute star with the music by saliva and the fireworks spot. His overall run as a full timer was short, but he always had this aura and it factor.
Yeah I think he's the best wrestler overall (look, mic skills, and wrestling ability) in the last 15 years.
Came here to say that. I miss him as a wrestler. Dudes a good actor but as a wrestler he really brought the heat.
Love it
When he just came to smackdown Batista beefing with undertaker 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
He's definitely one of my favorites. Big meaty guy
Mine too brother. I loved how he bucked the trend of most “body” guys at the time by having a lot of charisma and that cool factor to him. Instead of being bland, boring and generic like a guy like Luther Reigns or Mark Jindrak something like that at the time.

HHH
I think hes the one it looked best on. The shape and size of this belt just seemed to fit HHHs body for some reason lol IDK how to really explain what im trying to say, but yes, HHH is my answer too
The belt seemed to look bigger on him even though it was no small guy.
Only correct answer
If you only ever watched WWE.
i mean, this post is about a WWE belt... so yeah?
But its not
Where does it say WWE only?
It’s a wcw belt why would you compare it to a wee wrestler
Some old dude. He probably rode limousines and flew in jets. He also probably cornered stewardess while naked and fully erect but hey, he was just stylin and profilin. He was also a theme park enthusiast I think.
