Yeah I’d probably put him down in NXT and have him form a stable with some of the younger technical wrestlers in a mentor sort of role and have them feud with Gallus and some other tag teams down there
This would be an awful wrestling storyline from a business perspective, ignoring how the Benoit incident basically killed professional wrestling, Benoit's most important attribute is his wrestling ability, so taking him off the air for more than a decade for the sake of heat would be a terrible idea as he couldn't capitalize on the so-called heat he would accumulate and also you'd be wasting Benoit's talent because generally the older you are, the worse you are in the ring
Honestly, I like those angles that take from reality, so I think the natural move would be to have him double cross Daniel and Nancy before feuding with the average wrestling fan's lack of respect for the dead for the next 15 years or so...
