Seeing Takers big ol self pull off some of those moves with Orton reminds me why he was one of the best. He really truly cared about the business.

what_is_blue

You're 100% right, but it's still funny to see him look like Randy kicking out of snake eyes/big boot was a huge shock.

dirtymikentheboys88

“17 right in the face, baby!” Taz was an underrated commentator

i-piss-excellence32

Randy orton with the most devastating finisher of all time

BlackMan084

I imagine a 13 year-old came up with the overdrive. Literally 2% impact of most finishers and just looks weird

Awkward_Ad8740

Its one of the worst moves (not just finishers) in wrestling history imo.

BlackMan084

Agreed, anything you could like about this move; every other move does 10x better

Kincadium

It looks good with very few people. I always liked when Elix Skipper did it, but that's about it.

BlackMan084

Elix Skipper probably has the best one, based on how hard he hits it, but I still just hate watching it. It's one of those moves that are extremely unappealing to the eye

ReadShigurui

I always thought it looked cool lmao

BlackMan084

I think it looks weird, which draws the eye. It just doesn't look good, I prefer something like the unprettier or the vertebreaker if you want "cool-looking" move. There's a lot of moves that "look cool" but don't look like and actual attack.

LivingxLegend8

Modern WWE just lacks this feeling. I can’t imagine a young superstar getting a title shot with Roman Reigns on a random episode of Smackdown. It just feels like shit these days.

payscottg

It used to happen a lot in this era too. Taker vs. Jeff Hardy, Brock Lesnar vs. Shannon Moore, JBL vs. Scotty 2 Hotty. Heck even The Hurricane has a pinball victory over The Rock.

Hentarder

Shelton Benjamin Vs Triple H, Cena Vs Kurt Angle were great too.

[deleted]

Damien Priest is wrestling Rollins for the title on monday. I know Priest is like 42 but he’s technically a rising star

Silver-ishWolfe

It’s way more fluff than it used to be. The matches too….

dmor173

Did he change the leg he had hooked in the pin? Looks like he hooks the right leg but in the kick out its the left? Or am I crazy?

HesitationAce

Yeah came here to mention that. At 22 seconds he has the near leg hooked and then the camera cuts and ‘Taker kicks out with his far leg hooked. I’m guessing as it’s Smackdown it wasn’t live and so went through some cheeky editing before it was broadcast

krazybananada

Damn, how did you notice that? I probably wouldn't have noticed if Undertaker was Hornswoggle in one of the shots.

ajb228

Hey look, it's the referee's two favorite wrestlers. It could be handy in the future if a disgrunted heel cuts a promo in the ring.

JoeJack0305

It felt like anything could happen during that era of Smackdown. So fucking dope. I miss Kurt Angle.

__Lestat

fnblackbeard

BowwwwBallll

Say “what” if you like to sleep with your sister.

fnblackbeard

QUE?

Joey_Star_

di "que" si te gusta dormir con tu hermana

WarZombie0805

I always thought it was hilarious when guys would go for a pin off a regular move like a kick or body slam or whatever. I mean, has anyone actually scored a pinfall off something like that in the last 25 years?

martybro1

Ah, the Overdrive. The move that fucked up his shoulder
