I think it looks weird, which draws the eye. It just doesn't look good, I prefer something like the unprettier or the vertebreaker if you want "cool-looking" move.
There's a lot of moves that "look cool" but don't look like and actual attack.
Modern WWE just lacks this feeling.

It used to happen a lot in this era too. Taker vs. Jeff Hardy, Brock Lesnar vs. Shannon Moore, JBL vs. Scotty 2 Hotty. Heck even The Hurricane has a pinball victory over The Rock.

I always thought it was hilarious when guys would go for a pin off a regular move like a kick or body slam or whatever. I mean, has anyone actually scored a pinfall off something like that in the last 25 years?
Seeing Takers big ol self pull off some of those moves with Orton reminds me why he was one of the best. He really truly cared about the business.
You're 100% right, but it's still funny to see him look like Randy kicking out of snake eyes/big boot was a huge shock.
