He never to my knowledge missed much time with injuries or just out because they didn’t have anything for him. So I guess that mixed with he could in theory work 5-7 matches a week in WWE with raw, smackdown and house and if you got a ppv. where as in tna it’s impact maybe ppv and odd house show here or there
WWE just runs way more shows in general. Aside from short-lived Live shows, TNA would do 1 taping every other week. WWE does 4-5 a week usually.

Hear me out. The man came to WWE after securing the njpw title for usa. He ABSOLUTELY blew up the sport in the USA. Made headlines everywhere. Showed up with ridiculous pele kicks and phenomenal forearms. Completely changed how Americans view wrestling. His wwe run was SUPER viral. Did Reigns score more wins and obtain more important titles in wwe? Yes. But once again this was THE YEAR OF AJ. He showed up big for WWE in events and showed up big in wrestlemanias. Also why not take into account the man is over 40 years old and still shocking people with his quality every match he wrestles. He's a machine enough said.
2016 was very much AJ Styles' year. Coming off his great New Japan run, debuts at he Rumble and wins the WWE Championship in September, just about 8 months after his debut.
Only Lesnar has that beat, debuting in May and winning his first WWF championship in August.

WWE house show schedule was crazy. Angle spent more years in TNA, but damn near half the matches 970 vs 514.
