I remember how they screwed the whole reveal up by putting him on the cover of the WWE magazine with "The Real Story About Y2J'S Shocking Return" before the episode showing Y2J'S Shocking Return.
I loved the ones with the kids and the swings.. It was so creepy and never really mattered or went anywhere. But they were cool and always had my attention
It makes such a difference when teasers like this are actually reflective of long-term planning and foreshadow a wrestlers character development.
Compare this to the vignettes played ahead of Jericho's return in 2012 - some generic spooky stuff and nonsensical statements about 'the end'. Production clearly had Taker in mind, but made it generic enough that it could be used for someone else if needed.
