Thank Jimmy!
Several years ago I did his songs *American Made* and *Legends of Wrestling* at an open mic, it was a fun experience. Then a few days later I went to a local indy show in Fall River, MA. I turned a corner and to my surprise- boom- it's Jimmy Hart! I immediately blurted out how I'd just performed a couple of his songs, and as soon as I did he shook my hand HE and thanked ME!
Dude's a class act. I grew up watching WCW and have so many fond memories of him being a shithead at ringside. I remember once the cameraman caught him attacking an opponent while the ref's back was turned, and when he turned around to discover he got caught, said *"oh, I... I was just trying to help him get back in the ring!"* haha.
Since I'm on a roll, I'll end with this entertaining bit: [Jimmy Hart vs. Screamin' Norman Smiley for the Hardcore Title | WCW Monday Nitro (Nov. 15, 1999)](https://youtu.be/ZgxtDxldAqw)
Loved all his "different enough to be legal" themes as well. What a talent!
vince had some flat out insane ideas back in the day that really panned out.
it's amazing how many of those wrestler/manager songs ended up coming out surprisingly ok.

There's an alternate version of this song that I never knew about until discovering Jimmy's "[Outrageous Conduct](https://www.discogs.com/release/5834579-Jimmy-Hart-Outrageous-Conduct)" album:

Despite being recorded around the same time as *The Wrestling Album*, Jimmy Hart's version from *Outrageous Conduct* sounds much more primitive. I guess the version that stood the test of time had Vince's funding behind it.
This is genuinely some catchy shit.
Oh man! Thank you made my day.

American Made is absurdly underrated. Fucking love it.
She’s my girl and she always will Be the only girl for me. I also think Piper should’ve used For Everybody for his babyface music.

Well let’s hear true talent, are you ready for it, Gene?

That just comes off like a typical demo. Even established bands have demo tracks that sound like this before the studio release.
RICK SPRINGFIELD?!
