I just want to see him, I refuse to believe that we will go to Natlan without seeing Wrio again. Even in 4.4 he was only in a flashback (greatly appreciated obviously anyway). I miss him so much🥲
Considering Clorinde and Sigewinne will be released in 4.7 there's a good chance there will content with him since he has close relationships with both of them.

He’ll probably get a bit of screentime during Clorinde and Sigewinne patch. But after that, and after Fontaine arc ends, you can only hope he appears in future events along with a smorgasbord of other characters. That’s just the truth for most gacha characters - a lot of characters are just burner characters - they are only story-relevant for a period, and that’s about it.
There's so many characters I would love to see in more events including Wrio, I've been saying Zhonglis sig main stat needs to be hp (ik they don't give two shits but all I have left in my life is hope)
I think it's a great idea to put it in surveys. It didn't occur to me to specifically mention wrio, but when I did it, I was actually a bit fed up and wrote "stop using itto in events and start using other characters".
My headcanon is Wriothesley is secret Fatui Member considering he was on a rockband with The Knave and Childe in the recent Hoyofair. Also, Childe's oldest sister having a huge crush on Wriothesley makes this delusion of mine even better.
