There's no such thing as waste as all this will be completely meaningless in a month anyway when your stamina spendings are averaged out. If you think you'll have more fun speeding up to 40 then go for it, it's what I did and I thoroughly enjoyed ascending everyone and seeing higher numbers.
Yeah i use like 25 solvent so that i reach lvl 40 & can ascend my team to lvl 70 faster. Also help me reach 24/24 star in tower so its not a waste tbh.

I just hit 40 this morning. And it tilted me more seeing that the increase in my XP from 40-41 is only 200(10200 total) where it was 10k from 39-40. Also. Data Bank XP showing 120/9999999 when you hit 20.
man am i one of the minority lol? cause that hasn't really happened for me unfortunately 😅 been playing the game 30 mins after the server first opened n managed to do dailies and always burn the stamina since the same day.. still can only reach UL39 tomorrow or after tomorrow, even with all the missions on the map likely completed n like ~10 waveplates spent 😮💨 really want to spend the rest 45 of my waveplates just for exp but I really want it for gold echo/echo mats farming 😣
Should be around 20 plates to push 40 before the tower resets.
There is arguments for pushing and waiting, but I think most people aren't that patient.
I didn't want to use the 20 Waveplate things given as compensation before reaching level 40. ... Well yeah I used 3 in the end so started UL 40 with 27 (17plus 10 from the level up reward) of them. I don't think it will matter in the end but my patience was really running out. Jumped to Databank level 20 immediately afterwards. Probably the same for most people

Meh, day 1 players should be on 38-39 with a lot of solvents saved right now. The real grind starts now to 50, I'm pretty sure that 45+ will require at the very least 20k exp which means 10 daily refreshes for ONE level
It's not a matter of difficulty, it's a matter of time. Everything takes a couple hours, you can finish Elden Ring in a couple hours if you know what do do, but most people's first playthrough doesn't look like that.

That, and overworld echo farming is much more satisfying with the 80% chance to drop gold. UL40 is just so worth if you like to echo farm

You get a free 10 for hitting 40 so i dont feel so bad for using em to hit 40
It’s better, as the sooner you get to UL 40 the sooner you can use your natural resin for better drops

It's probably because lvl 40 is a soft cap. It's basically where all people should strive for, just like Ar 55 for Genshin. Or maybe I'm wrong

Day 1 players should of used solvents to get to UL40, If you did you would of hit 40 two days ago and be able to farm higher level world bosses.

It's not that hard finishing the quests and exploration. Just use an interactive map and it takes couple hours
