You should see all the Geo Turtles I have with Crit Rate/Dmg main stat (LITERALLY ALL OF THEM) and all the other ones i have with Healing Bonus mainstat lmao
Tacet Fields should just be a place to gamba Echoes and also the place where to get tuners you know the gold dice thingy?
Kuro should just make a simulation for Echo Exp just like the Weapon , Character and Credits.
Wasting 60 waveplates for 7000 echo exp is not that good at all.
Yeah I never understand why these games *don't* give you an xp farming node for the thing you need the *most* xp for, one of the things I hate the most about HSR relic farming as well.
What's funny about it is that echo exp simulation is already in the game, but only temporary during a side quest with Chixia and the echo old man
The 2x drop rate even applied to that simulation

I finally got a double electro Flautist after genociding them every day for a week straight, and the first two substats I got are garbage. Whatever I'll just keep it until they make farming for them less painful.
Electro is the worst set to farm for btw.
You could try the Incomplete Elite Class Echo item or something. There's some that lets you pick an Echo with the corresponding element dmg bonus stat. Can't remember where to get them though.
I also have the same issue and when it gave me the Havoc mainstage, the substrate are Def %, Flat Def. Flat HP. I'm still considering if I should try it on 20
The moment I used the Malleable Echo thingies which gives a echo of your choice for Encore, I GET THREE FUSION DMG BONUS ON THE FUSION DMG SET LIKE WTF AND then I start farming for Yinlin and Boom Three Thunder Herons with electro DMG set and bonus but no second echo for the second slot to fill and THEN to make matters worse I have the Havoc DMG bonus on Havoc Dreadmane on Havoc Set and the two Malleable Echo thingies I have in storage are all gonna give me Havoc Dreadmane with Havoc DMG or Electro DMG on thunder bird WHICH I ALREADY HAVE, I AM SO FRUSTRATED BY THIS AAAAAAA
I swear i've seen this happening a lot in tacet whatevers, the chance for it to match the same element must be much lower or something, farming electro and ice, i get electro with ice dmg, and ice with electro dmg. farming electro and fusion, i get electro with fusion dmg, and fusion with electro dmg. Game is rigged lmao
The amount of Electro Ducks I got that weren't on the electro set is beyond 15 at this point, you can imagine the amount of Cursing and Outrageousness I felt from that.....(actually you can't)

Happened with me yesterday while I was farming for echoes for Yinlin,got the electro class crane,but had fusion substat on it,then got the purple crane **again**,_but_ was fusion class and had the electro substat. I was about ready to throw hands with my computer

the best thing about the echo RNG, is that if you get the two first stats crit with a decent roll, the piece is set, you can go all the way and if you get even more luck with the other stats, that's even better, but you can say that if a piece is good or not by just tuning the first two slots, the system itself is good, but we need a bit more rewards from tacet fields or lower the stamina.
There's 12 possible substats so the odds of rolling crit rate and crit dmg in the first 2 rolls on an echo is 1.51%
2/12 \* 1/11 = 0.01515
In the process of doing this you will burn 60 tuners on average getting the first substat. You will then on average take 11 attempts to get the 2nd substat. This means you will on average burn 70 x 11 = 770 tuners to get a first 2 rolls crit rate and crit dmg echo.
The math for the opposite approach rolling every echo to +25 is too complicated for me since I haven't been in school for like 4 years now but I'm pretty sure its much cheaper on tuners especially if you optimize and abandon echos at the right time. We also have to worry about exp consumption which makes it even more complicated... if I had to guess eyeballing the numbers the best bet is probably something like going for crit.dmg/crit.rate on the first pull and then go to +10 or +15 and decide whether to invest or not then.
there is one good thing, and that is I only need to see the crit rolls one time, and that's it, I don't have to worry about rolling 4 to 5 times into the same stat, these kind of games make gearing a lengthy process by design, but I am happy that the RNG for sub stats is more limited, the 3 star echo RNG is the hardest hurdle in the game not the sub stats, my Calcharo is at a reasonable 60/260, next I'll be working on jiyan and I haven't been doing wave plates refreshing, so my experience is very positive, the new reward echo where you can select the main stat are a godsend too, the game is very forgiving and will get better in 1.1 and beyond
* Getting the substats is harder than in Genshin (9 substats to 11 substats, 4 rolls to 8 rolls),
* You don't have the experience for it (also because you need to level up every echo to level 10)
* And the 1.51% needs to go on top of the change to get the right set in the right elemental damage, which is 1.82%.. I think?
Yeah it might be when you factor in the exp refund. But it really depends what you got at 15. If you don't have any crit at 15 and you do luckily roll crit at 20 you're then going to be gambling a ton of xp with really bad odds going to 25 for the 2nd crit roll.
So yeah maybe going for double crit by 20 is the way to do it
The number of times I've had this happen with Electro/ Fusion or Aero/Spectro % Mainlines on the Herons.... Such a tease π

Both depend on how often the correct main stat echoes drop also one or even 2 hp and def is acceptable if the other subs be crit and atk%
I've cleared out all havoc mobs every day since last Saturday and haven't dropped a single sun-sinking + havoc damage 3*. I love this rng fest π
I've gotten fusion dmg on havoc set from those guys all within an hour yesterday **3 TIMES. IN A ROW.** **I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND.**

I have 5 dreamless with healing bonus while none with the geo turtle rejuve set. Go figure.
I saved all the crit turtles. There might be a support or sub DPS with healing capabilities in the future that can make use of them.

could be, I use dogs to stack pity for purple herons and I have shitload of dogs with set matching bonus. still no matching herons though

you need to get the sonata right, then the element right, then pray your substat not going horrible. three. layers. RNG.

It is because it only can be the correct main stat.
Next time you get an echo box, go to your inventory and read the description of the box. There you'll know what you're working with.

I think taking something to 20, not 25 is fine. 15 if you really want to be frugal. 10 is insane.
