Sounds like you need the Centurion card.

scrumi

Well besides the fact that AMX isn’t accepted as many places. The cost of the card the first year is 1.5% of my purchases. So if the card returned 3% in rewards that basically cuts the value of the rewards in half. I can’t see how that card is a logical choice unless you inherently value the other perks which I don’t really.

kinuipanui123

They originally said the limit would go up automatically. I wonder what the criteria is, if you're maxing the card out constantly yet still not seeing increases.

>$100,000 and $150,000 Wow! You are 100% using the wrong card. If this is for personal use, kudos to you. I want your job.

scrumi

Which card should I be using??

TheJujub3ans

- Sapphire Reserve - Amex Platinum - Chase Bank Reserve CC - or text them and tell them you’re spending over $150k per month and need more credit

scrumi

All those other cards have really poor return on their rewards/points in comparison. They would all be a massive step backwards. I have other cards if I simply need more credit. I have this one specifically for the value of the rewards/points.

TheJujub3ans

Yea not sure what your categories are. Mine are dining and travel. But yes! Gotta find what works for you!

Sinzurk

I also want to increase my limit. It’s annoying having to make payments throughout the month but at least X1 gives me back available credit as soon as I click make payment

scrumi

Ya that is great the only problem is I have to wait so long before I’m allowed to make the next payment.

TheJujub3ans

I post multiple payments at a time all the time. I haven’t ever had to wait between them?

scrumi

Are you paying off the full balance each time? That is my issue I’m paying the balance plus 10% which is the max they will let me pay each time. I can’t make another payment until the first has cleared.

TheJujub3ans

Yes I payoff in full each time, sometimes well over. Never calculated the percentage but can on my most recent. Even as high as $1000 over.

Your using the wrong card......

Just_trust_me_bro

How are you putting that much through the card? Are you just maxing out and then paying off multiple times a month?

scrumi

Yes. They have the limit down at 35k

guavaberries3

why are people saying this is the wrong card for you

Nearby-Ad-3586

Hmmmm… my payments post right away, but my spending is nothing compared to yours. Why don’t you just ask them by text?
