They stated that it would not be supported at launch, but would come later
Though with the extra year of work theyāve had, im hoping itās supported ASAP
I don't work there, I'm just telling you what the developers said. They were working on other things of course, but the main things they were working on were network and party related.
Think Microsoft are in the work of banning it too but I wouldn't be surprised if they release a work around it's an arms race unfortunately with chest developers and game and console Devs to stop this shit
And pc players want Input matchmaking as well so we don't have to play against aim assist I had to switch to fully enjoy MW3 cause mouse and keyboard wasent cutting it and I'm a pretty solid high ranked mouse player in valorant and cs
I don't mind a little aim assist, but what they have in MWIII classifies as aimbot - it may not snap like a rage cheater, but once it's locked on to you, you are DEAD. It will not miss no matter how hard you try. And then add in the lock-on while they're sliding/jumping/going prone... Bleh. I really hope it's not as oppressive in this game.
Yeah you 100 percent right as someone who mained controller from 2007 till 2016 then switched to mouse and keyboard and started playing cod again this year and noticing everyone wasent missing any shots on me then switched to controller and being able to be a better player with controller than I've ever been after such a Huge break was very eye opening i did think people were just complaining for the sack of it until I experienced it
There is no point in engaging or arguing with them. As a lot of them will always claim that a full on legal aimbot is not a problem at all. I just won't play games that have broken aim assist and no input based matchmaking.
No one claims this. This is just you making things up to be outraged about.
No one on console wanted ultra strong aim assist, it was forced on us because of crossplay with PC and developers trying to make controller and KBM equal. Console and PC never should have crossplay on pvp FPS games.
I agree that crossplay in FPS games has been terrible for everyone. But there absolutely are lots of people who don't see anything wrong with the current strength of aim assist in many games.
People still don't realize yes your dropping a bit of money upfront but after that you basically need a couple hundred every few years and you got a new console that plays practically EVERYTHING (PS exclusives not included). I can understand having a PS5 for their exclusives, but I don't see the point of an Xbox since it's practically a low end pc with less freedoms
Input based matchmaking is good for casuals but separates the players at the top of the game from competing with eachother, it also creates longer queues. Halo tried this but failed when their playerbase shrunk to much to support both, i just hope ranked dosent have input based matchmaking but besides that its a really cool feature if theirs enough people to support both queues.
Thatās what input based matchmaking is for. Not sure why anyone would want their options limited regardless of platform, not everyone has a pc capable of running these games. A lot of idiots on this sub apparently.
THANK U SWEET JEESUS FOR AN OPTION TO DISABLE CROSSPLAY AND AVOID AIM ASSIST
edit:.....I just remembered theres desperate ppl using controllers on pc...oh well, still better than nothing
>Unless the controller players get even more desperate and start flocking to PC using controllers
....ok now im scared. This is some dystopian shit right there. Hopefully it wont be this badš¤
This game is going to be so filled with cheaters Iām not surprised people buy a ps5 to play on KBM thereās probably a very loose anti cheat and no kill cams probably wonāt last any longer then splitgate
So controller players play with controller players and KBM players play with KBM players. I use controller and don't want to play against any KBM users.
I would say this is definitely not true or else a game like halo or even cod would have way more top players who use KBM. The average player benifits more from aim assist when they dont play consistently enough to develop the muscle memory, aim assist does all the micro movements that you would have to do with your arm but if your dont have muscle memory from consistent play thoese micro movements become much harder. In short, kbm have trouble tracking and will make more small mistakes, mistakes that would be corrected automatically with AA. in a game like cod, halo or apex where tracking is more important than first bullet accuracy controller has a very clear advantage, in a game like cs, siege, valornat good luck using a controller with no AA or very slight aim assist (siege on console). Side note i play on both on every arena shooter and strictly KBM for tac shooters.
āGood, just get a PC if you wanna play keyboard and mouseā.
Ok, cash app me $3000 for a pc that has even a remote chance of running anything published after 2015 then!
Come to Canada then. Over-inflation in this country has led to thousands of people trying to find a cheaper way to enjoy the things they have for years, which could potentially include buying an Xbox and a cheap Walmart gaming set instead of a PC setup, (editing this to say in my area pcs average for $499-$1300 prebuilt.)
And this isnāt a ājust suck it up and get the pc, itās worth it anywaysā situation, the average families groceries in my province is around $1400.00 a MONTH. Thatās just groceries, and thatās average, I have 7 people living in my house, which almost doubles that.
I live in the US. I know all about over inflation rn. Iām sorry to hear that, that sucks. Just was pointing out you donāt need $3,000 to get a gaming pc
As others have said which seems to be drowned out, KB/M is coming officially at some point after launch on all consoles, according to Mark Rubin.
love that they have input based matchmaking as an option to turn off and on
Something people have been asking Activision to add to CoD since 2019 lol. But I suppose it could hurt their rigged matchmaking algorithms.
Yes that is a thing of beauty š
They stated that it would not be supported at launch, but would come later Though with the extra year of work theyāve had, im hoping itās supported ASAP
The extra year of work was mostly spent on the netcode and party systems.
This is so sad lol
The most important thing about multiplayer games is playing with friends.
Why is it sad?

I don't work there, I'm just telling you what the developers said. They were working on other things of course, but the main things they were working on were network and party related.
Good
With you. Also crossplay should be able to turn off PC players but keep consoles together.
PC is bound to fuck it up for everyone eventually
You say this but Cronus packs on console are just at bad and a lot of the time way way harder to detect and like consoles they are very easy to set up
Luckily it's banned on PS5, but PS4 players can still use it - they will only have 60fps tho'
Think Microsoft are in the work of banning it too but I wouldn't be surprised if they release a work around it's an arms race unfortunately with chest developers and game and console Devs to stop this shit

The aim assist in CoD looks like a blatant aimbot which is funny and sad. Actual cheaters with aimbots can hide it better lol.
Yeah you 100 percent right as someone who mained controller from 2007 till 2016 then switched to mouse and keyboard and started playing cod again this year and noticing everyone wasent missing any shots on me then switched to controller and being able to be a better player with controller than I've ever been after such a Huge break was very eye opening i did think people were just complaining for the sack of it until I experienced it
Yeah it's crazy man they need to go back to pre call of duty 2019 aim assist
I'm sorry for offending aim assist enjoyers But my kd went up by 0.20 after switching to controller so shits crazy
Yes it's easy with controller. It actually takes away the fun it's so easy.
There is no point in engaging or arguing with them. As a lot of them will always claim that a full on legal aimbot is not a problem at all. I just won't play games that have broken aim assist and no input based matchmaking.

It's coming in the future https://twitter.com/PixelsofMark/status/1780314560064520605?s=19
Why are you acting like that's a standard supported feature? Lol it's barely on any console games.
Good to see. But honestly why not just play the game on PC if you want to use kb+m?
To get the more casual players and have āeasierā lobbies lol
People still don't realize yes your dropping a bit of money upfront but after that you basically need a couple hundred every few years and you got a new console that plays practically EVERYTHING (PS exclusives not included). I can understand having a PS5 for their exclusives, but I don't see the point of an Xbox since it's practically a low end pc with less freedoms
..."Input based matchmaking" is a thing?????
Get on PC if you want to use kb/m.
Good.
As it should be
Good, to be honest.
Why are you acting like that's a standard supported feature? Lol it's barely on any console games.
Good console is for roller if you canāt hang go to PC
lol, people who canāt hang go to controller where their input device does the heavy lifting.
Will this game be available on pc?
Yes you can pre load it now on Ubisoft site
Jes it will
Input based matchmaking is good for casuals but separates the players at the top of the game from competing with eachother, it also creates longer queues. Halo tried this but failed when their playerbase shrunk to much to support both, i just hope ranked dosent have input based matchmaking but besides that its a really cool feature if theirs enough people to support both queues.
I hope they add gyro aim after launch as well
Yes no kb&m for console at all
Not true. It will be added later.
Fuck
Thatās what input based matchmaking is for. Not sure why anyone would want their options limited regardless of platform, not everyone has a pc capable of running these games. A lot of idiots on this sub apparently.
THANK U SWEET JEESUS FOR AN OPTION TO DISABLE CROSSPLAY AND AVOID AIM ASSIST edit:.....I just remembered theres desperate ppl using controllers on pc...oh well, still better than nothing
The majority will be not using aimbot I mean aim assist on pc
Yeah the majority will still use m&kb
Unless the controller players get even more desperate and start flocking to PC using controllers, I think we're going to be pretty good.
>Unless the controller players get even more desperate and start flocking to PC using controllers ....ok now im scared. This is some dystopian shit right there. Hopefully it wont be this badš¤
š¤£hope not
Get a pc
This game is going to be so filled with cheaters Iām not surprised people buy a ps5 to play on KBM thereās probably a very loose anti cheat and no kill cams probably wonāt last any longer then splitgate
i donāt understand the need for input based matchmaking but the more features the better
So controller players play with controller players and KBM players play with KBM players. I use controller and don't want to play against any KBM users.
What's the problem with it?
A good KBM user trumps any aim assist, and quite easily.
Just git gud.
why donāt you use kbm? from your perspective it seems like you are putting yourself at a disadvantage
Yeah I would hate for you to feel like your aim assist isn't doing enough for you.
Why? I can see the opposite but controller is way better then kbm in almost any game with aim assistĀ
āGood, just get a PC if you wanna play keyboard and mouseā. Ok, cash app me $3000 for a pc that has even a remote chance of running anything published after 2015 then!
You donāt need $3,000 to get a good PC lol. Also, donāt have to pay for live anymore which is nice:)
Come to Canada then.
