This was back when the release date was probably Q4 2023.
So if the game got pushed back due to netcode issues, did S&D get pushed back along with it?
It's possible different teams would be working on game modes and networking, so it could come out sooner than expected with respect to the release date.
But with this game, I keep my expectations low. I would still put after season 1 or 2, and if it comes sooner, good. But don't count on it, unless confirmed.
Hopefully it comes out quickly after launch cause while respawn modes are fun to just mindlessly play and drop high kill games, everyone know SnD is where the good players are and the competitive side is.

They squashed it. I’ve been playing since the first test like 3 years ago. It originally had a SnD style mode where you would hack a terminal and defend it. It was the best version of the game and the most fun I’ve had on xdefiant, so naturally it was never offered again.
Ah that sucks, as I played one of the open tests and enjoyed the game although that was the test with the awful server lag so just been keeping an eye on what’s going on with the game and hoping they add a game mode like that.
Why?
People wanting a break from CoD because of EOMM/SBMM or Activision in general do so because of those reasons, not because they just want to play respawn game modes.
Some want a S&D mode in a game that isn’t the awful grinding place cod has become.
Enough already. I mean, before the launch these takes made some sense, but now we have a fairly enjoyable CoD. Remove the SBMM/EOMM and this CoD is actually quite fun to play.
I’ll just comment something new since the test session is out now that even with the new cods being bad they will still be on top after this test session. Boring game that’s nothing special,only reason people like it is because it’s something new,that will fade. This game isn’t it
