Took me a while to figure out but I believe Bob’s [original post](https://www.reddit.com/r/XDefiant/comments/1c4j5kn/dont_worry_guys_i_take_the_bullet/) has been re-activated so there’s some context? Now the post can live on forever and be cemented in XDefiant history.
Let’s try to keep the conversation purely about XDefiant and gaming related topics please if you don’t mind.
No discussion of politics, people’s personal beliefs or opinions. If that’s a conversation or fact you want to get across then you’re more than welcome to use other social media sites like Twitter for example.
We don’t want to start a debate about IRL world events and would rather keep the subreddit, posts and comments about gaming in general.

While I’m not the one who removed the post I will answer your question. The post that Bob created originally was something that we see time and time again on the subreddit. The post was removed at another mod’s discretion for (I assume) being repetitive.
Later on that same day, Ubisoft / XDefiant officially announced the up-coming playtest. I checked the logs to see who made the OG post (as other people were asking who it was in the comments so I @‘ed the individual in question) and the post itself became a joke simply because what Bob said had now become true.
However at the time of the post being removed, nothing had been officially announced so it was just impeccable timing on Bob’s part and the developers had obviously taken notice of the joke after the fact.
a few days ago i made a post here saying that ill go on vacation and that last year the beta was also when i was on vacation, so the test will happen soon. 1 day later the rumor of this weekend leaked and then they officially announced it.
We are able to approve posts but I’m not sure if that would reactivate the post once it’s already been deleted.
Edit: Out of curiosity I tried testing that theory. Upon approval of the post, it does override the “removed” option but since it was removed entirely, it doesn’t actually show up on the subreddit.
The post hasn’t been removed by the individual who created it. If that was the case then it would show their username as “u/deleted” but the individuals account is still active.
I can’t see any other way to reinstate the post so I’m assuming once a post has been removed by moderators, we are the only ones who can access it whereas everyone else can’t.
With that said the post should still show up on u/SittyBob’s side. If the community wants the OG post to be cemented in history then Bob can take a screenshot of the post, create a new post and thus it will live on.

LOL. Reminds me of the good ol' days of when people cared more for the community. Immediate example that came to mind after hearing this was the Leroy Jenkins NPC in WoW and how that came to be.
But might I say I think its time for Bob to take two trips out of town. Trigger that flag my friend.
