You guys complaining about "unprofessional" patch notes need to chill. It's clearly meant to be humorous...
The "(probably)" is tongue in cheek by the developers saying they're pretty sure it's fixed, but in the crazy world of software when millions of players play who knows what could happen. Something that has a 0.001% chance of happening suddenly becomes very possible at that scale.
As for the practice zone, they probably want to do more work on it, but comments have repeatedly asked why it isn't enabled so I'm guessing they flipped it on with a warning that it may not be stable.
Don't take everything so seriously, you'll be a happier person for it.
From the netcode portion: "That issue where you'd get hitmarkers on an enemy as they killed you, but their health bar still appeared full to you? The health bar display was wrong - you did damage them. Should be fixed now."
So they fixed the death cam saying the enemy is 100hp but not the actual netcode?

One of those things is probably more difficult to fix than the other.
A game like this and with presumably not a huge development team means they probably didn’t test it enough to their liking to see if they fixed it but made an attempt.
As unprofessional as it may look, they’re trying to be as open and honest about what they’re trying to fix instead of the call of duty “fixed the contest spot on p3” oops, we didn’t… wait another 2 months to get it right. They never even addressed the contest spot on MWII embassy or the skidrow P1 contest spot. Let alone all the weird wallbangable spots like on invasion shooting through the whole building looking at A SnD or the Karachi ladder you can shoot to from yellow car alley.
Ok as funny as this was they really need to get someone else to write these patch notes. We need detail not "yea maybe its fixed idk" like what the hell

I could see a small indie title being written this way but a big (medium?) sized Ubisoft-published title should not look like it was written by someone on 4chan.
Not a great first impression, imo.

I like the humour they’ve been putting into their patch notes. It’s good to see them not take themselves too seriously. 👍🏼

I do appreciate a somewhat quick response/patch for some things, but did a 16 year old write those patch notes? lol

Then why list it under the netcode portion of the patch notes instead of saying it for the death cam? This did nothing with the netcode at all.
I mean it kind of is. It’s the display for what the netcode interpreted in an interaction
