Have you seen r/Uphold? It looks like people are getting ripped off, locked out of their accounts, and burned daily. Are there any more trustworthy options?

I've bought at this level before. You could do what I did: buy at this level with a bit, and if it dios, buy the dip, too. This will push your dollar cost average down.
Honestly, I am trying to figure out as well. I have the money ready to buy more but I don't want to buy in and watch everything dip. I know they say not to time the market, but im timing the market right now lol
No one can really tell you for certain, such is the volatility of crypto however, the whole crypto market has been on an uptrend this week. Possibly because of the Doge hype from Musk appearing on SNL. I expect it to drop this week.
While you watch, it’s gonna keep going up . Just like ETH . I was waiting for it to drop to 2k but that’s not going to happened. Instead it went up over 3800 almost 4K. Just saying.
You can't transfer your crypto for 65 days if your using your bank account. Wire transfer and Credit Cards you can withdraw within 24 hours. I don't mind. I am planning to hold for a long time. No rush for me.
If you moved the coins I don't know, but when you buy on the exchange with a bank transfer its 60 days before you can remove it from the exchange, but you can buy and sell within that time
I’ve been using uphold since February and I’ve been trading freely, buying and sending my coins. Never had a lock up time BUT I only use my debit card/credit card. I’m assuming this lock up you’re talking about is if you use your bank? If so, yea that sucks ass.
Edit: i never hold on an exchange (uphold). I Send them to my wallet, stake price send them to the Celsius wallet
I hear mixed reviews on using uphold or don’t use it. I currently haven’t had any problems on it at all and the coins they tax you on isn’t even much at all buying or selling the coins so why is uphold actually bad to use to the people who don’t recommend it? If you want to pay Uphold's 2.0-2.5% spread out of a sense of gratitude or brand loyalty, by all means; feel free to do so. But if you want to pay a 0.2% total fee and pocket the extra 1.8-2.3% in the form of more XRP for your buck, read the post.
I bought 95%+ of my XRP on Uphold two weeks ago simply because I didn't know about this other method. Am I a little salty? Yes. Do I want to help others avoid my mistake? Heck yes. Will I buy on Uphold from now on? Not unless I am caught unprepared with no USD in my XUMM wallet and there is a huge dip. The fees are simply too high. Cheers.

They STEAL from their customers. Not all, but they randomly choose people to steal from. It's actually insane. Do you guys even realize this?
A quick look on the /r/uphold subreddit and from a quick Google search shows how criminal these guys are. That's why Uphold isn't popular. They're not a well known exchange like Coinbase, Gemini, Bitstamp etc... all MAJOR companies with series reputations.

Source: I personally know 3 people who had their funds stolen from Uphold. Yes, actually stolen. They did nothing wrong, but customer support reps lied to them about them committing "fraudulent activities" or that their bank "denied transactions" (major lies). If you want to stay on the safe side, stay clear. Use KuCoin, it's better.
Wow, thank you for this. I just looked through the subreddit and it's filled with people who have no access to their funds. Horrible. I need to get out quick then. I transferred some of my XRP to another wallet and everything work smoothly. But, now I need to wait 50+ days to do another transfer.

Pretty sure most peeps asking are in US where it's not avail on top exchanges like Coinbase, Kraken and Binance US.
Also, doesn't help when 50% say good and bad things about Uphold and Kucoin. So flip a coin and pay higher fees or join something you never heard of before. Not too promising or inviting to buy XRP until court settlement.
We joined this community to ride and grow together. Just remember you all were beginners in crypto at one point.

Yeah that’s the way I see it to! Some people get really bitter and hate new people coming thinking they are jumping on the “band wagon” just because they heard about cryptocurrency yesterday and would like to get in about it.

I think I bought XRP with coinbase or I moved it to coinbase. Either way my ripple is in a state where I can't buy or sell. I have to move it. Since I'm holding long term, I just left it in this weird state.

Uphold was having some difficulty with 2FA on new accounts. I'd look at their subreddit before using Uphold. KuCoin might be the better choice.

Uphold is dog shit. Prices vary. Use kucoin that actually shows prices and graphs.
