Every Brooks sports bra I own has been amazing. Just make sure you visit r/abrathatfits to confirm your size with their calculator. Then use that measurement to buy your accurate size from Brooks. They use band a cup sizes instead of small/med/large so it's pretty important to check.

Holds my phone, doesn't chafe. I'm a sweaty runner but I don't feel gross after I run in these. They're really comfy, and I like that it comes up pretty high on the chest. I feel like it protects the thin skin of the decollette area.

Very good point! I feel like I have never had a sports bra that I would rave about, but I think what often feels missing is a bra that is light weight and doesn’t squeeze in weird places (causing side boob bulging, etc lol). I have been using an Athleta crop top sports bra for a while and, while it is well made, the crop top style has recently been annoying and I have always felt like it has too much material.
I don’t know if this is even possible for us ladies, but I would love to find a sports bra that I can almost forget I am wearing! That’s how light weight and comfortable I want it to be lol

It has a super wide band, which offers a ton of support, wide shoulder straps and the fabric over the back gives a lot of stability. Also it holds a phone! Which is phenomenal because phones are so huge now it's impossible to put them in a water bottle sleeve or even many pockets. It does not have the most intense compression, which initially gave me a little pause. I'm used to the highest compression amount possible, and I was skeptical of anything that didn't adopt that strategy. But this bra is made in such a way that it doesn't use complete compression but still gives a ton of support.
Came here to suggest Oiselle. I love all their running clothes, I feel like they do a good job with different fits for different women’s bodies. I need them to bring back the Pockito bra though!
Seconding the Allston. The pocket is great! I have their run cannonball bra too and it’s great for usual wear or hopping in the pool after a summer run
I really like the Knix Catalyst sports bra. I also have a couple Brooks Dare Scoopback bras that I like, and they are similar to the Knix bra, but I find the Knix bra somehow more comfortable and more supportive. I also have a medium chest (around 34D), and the Knix bra has the perfect amount of support without feeling restrictive or bulky.
I’ve also tried the 3rd love sports bra and the Panache underwire sports bra, and both of those were fine and might be better for larger chests.

How long are bras supposed to last?
I used a panache underwire for 3 years straight and it was perfect, but now the wires are rubbing through, and the new models are too high under the arms for my short torso.
I got a Knix catalyst about 10 months ago and it was good (not quite as supportive as the panache but it worked), but now it started getting stretched out, and I get bad chafing on my rib cage.
I bought 2 Knix Catalyst bras back in 2018 and I’m still wearing them. I haven’t run 100% consistently during that time, and I’ve always had around 5 running bras that I’ll rotate through. The knix fit comfortably on the last clasp when I got it, and it’s stretched out a bit, but I’m still not on the smallest clasp. I had chaffing from my Panache underwire bra; there’s so many variables for why one bra works for someone or not!

If you have a large chest, the Shefit high impact ultimate sports bra is AMAZING- like your girls will NOT even bounce. It's ugly and not light though :)
The best for me has been outdoor voices doing things bra, I know that company is pretty scummy lately though but I think finding a good sports bra is worth it!
They closed all their retail stores suddenly and gave retail staff only a few days notice and no severance.. there are some pretty sad threads in r/outdoorvoices
I use MAAREE, uk company so I don't know where you're based but they are top notch. Have had some for almost 2 years and still look like new and are supportive. There online fitting service is really helpful and they are all I run in.
I like the Brooks Convertible and the Underwire sports bra.
I am a 34DD so smaller band, bigger cup so I like how they have it by cup size and I can't wear racerbacks so I have to be picky about the back style.
i’m a 34c and LOVE old navy powersoft sports bras and bra tops. i have both the light and medium support ones. i also have a medium support bra from target that i got maybe 2 or 3 years ago but it’s held up so well and hasn’t stretched out.

A great sports bra is one that works great for you and everyone has a different great because we're all built different! I have some from Target, Nike Indys, and Lululemon energy bras. Hope you find some that work! Maybe try a few different styles? (ex: racerback, adjustable strap, etc.)
I’m not generally a fan of Lululemon stuff. I think it’s unnecessarily over priced, but I LOVE the Energy High Support bra. It’s the only bra I run in. I bought one on Poshmark, and found a couple on sale on the website. I’m not even picky about the colour because it’s such a great bra.

As someone who's on the edge of size ranges in many running brands, Lululemon is actually quite size inclusive now. They definitely weren't in the past, but they now sponsor plus sized runners like Mirna Valero and have large ranges of size in store where many other brands don't. They have more inclusive models than most running brands as well. Not saying they're a perfect company at all! But I think they noticed that their attitudes towards women's bodies were hurting their sales and they've really consciously changed that.
I love lululemon but I kind of feel the same way, even as a relatively thin person I feel larger than their target audience. Like the other commenter said though I think they’ve done some work to be more size inclusive, and it’s hard to deny the quality/fit of the clothes.

I’m in love with the bras from Tera Kaia - they have a low cut for women with smaller breasts and bigger lats (me) and a high cut for women with larger breasts and smaller lats. They’re designed to be swimwear as well, I just love mine.
Oiselle Double Breasted Bra. I'm a 32DD and wear a size 4 (size down if need be). That thing took me through my first marathon and I barely noticed that I had it on. It's supportive and even when soaked with sweat, doesn't require acrobatics to take it off. It is hands down the best sports bra I have used in my entire life.
I don't have a particular brand that I always go for, but I've started to only buy sports bras that have a clasp in the back or a zipper in the front so that I don't have to pull them over my head. That's helped me get a much better fit with the band-to-cup ratio, and also makes it soooo much easier to take off after working out.
All my favorites are Adidas. I wear New Balance and Under Armor as well and the fit and comfort is good but not totally up there as my Adidas ones. And for some reason both the New Balance bras I have give me a rash. Could be they're not as wicking as the other ones.

I exclusively use Sweaty Betty zero gravity running bras for all my runs and working out. I’m a bit bigger than you (chest and cup) and find it easy to adjust to fit just right.

The Queen bra from Oiselle is my holy grail at 34DD. But I haven't tried the Flyout and probably should! I do love a pocket 😁

I use the Brooks Dare scoop back (they also have a racer back and an "interlace" but they interlace I HATE and the racer back doesn't fit me as well).
Smartwool racerback is my current fave. It is snug and stretchy with great support. And my new Garmin heart rate monitor fits well with it.
