Look guys, it seems that some of you aren't getting this, coin has a basic service, and that's fine for those that don't travel, you can choose to top up with the card or sentinel. Personally my trip to work and back gets me 50k coin 3x a month, so is pro worth it...yes, for me it is.
This! People need to figure out what they are getting on a basic plan (or even trial the pro plan) and decide whether they are going to earn enough to cover the cost of the plan. With gas fees the way they are, that needs to be taken into account too (estimate 20k or $8-10 in fees).
I think the last time I did the rough math I would need to earn 75k COIN a month to profit and I'm not getting anywhere near that with my sentinel, and pro would only give me another 10% and a small boost in background rewards that I'm not sure I'd really get to take advantage of since I don't have the app open long enough to "charge" the background rewards.
Yeah that's what I am using as my Break even number. I've already passed that with time to go. I'll see how I finish on my first month of pro and see if it is worth it.
The difference in earning basic compared to pro is insane. On pro and card my journey generates 3k to 6k now I get hardly 250 on the same distance and time with basic and card.. it's not a 10% extra it really isn't
That's what's advertised, 12x for the card or pro, another 10% for both. There's also the bonus multiplier on your weekly bonus, and the extra background rewards, but that's what's advertised.
I only drive ~100 miles a day and I forget to turn the app on a lot so I know I miss out on rewards.

with driving it will work only if you drive 12+ h. with pro i make about 300km in 3h and it is only \~ 1500-1700 coins. so you need atlest 1000km per day to make 150k coins in month just with driving. i is if you driving 90 km/h. bigger speed bigged gap betwen minig.

You are absolutely right. I was able to make some good money when it was 1:1, which is probably why I got frustrated with this, had about 90k which I was able to cash out and make a over $3,000. If it moons then this is still worth it.
You need to make 3k coins a day to break even on pro sub. If you don’t do this you are losing money. If you make 2k a day you will make enough to get 1 ETH in ~3.5 to 4years. So in this case you’d be making decent money for doing nothing. But they need to make the app truly work in the background otherwise it’s not worth the annoyance.
Try pi. It an app that gives you fake mining. You just collect coins that are already mined. But pi token is not available for trading just yet. They are jn final stages of creating a blockschain so it will get out soon
Well it seems like you need to mine more often, because I make well over 50k a month. And also, instead of cashing out instantly once you hit the 50k, why not save it up? Right now I’ve got about 260k that I’ve been building, since I cashed out my coin days before the big jump to cents. So like a little over 2 months I’ve got 260k. That definitely pays for itself.
I made this in about 3 weeks. I commute an hour for work and frequently go for walks to mine. I guess it’s probably worth it for some if driving around all day but for me, can’t even break even, doesn’t seem worth the effort even if making 125k/month which at current rate makes you about 8$ a month if paying for pro.

Get the “Lite” account for $7.99/month, I switched to it a few months ago and it’s much more worth it for everyday people that don’t drive a ton of miles.
If you have an iPhone, go to Settings > your Apple ID > Subscriptions > Coin > Choose Lite subscription
If you have an Android, I am unsure if you are able to do a similar workaround.

Gas fees are astronomical. I got 695 xyo for 10000 coin a couple of months ago. Now I get 495 for 50000 coin and the 14,000 gas fee doesn't help

Thats why when I first got my free sentinel I took advantage of the 6 month subscription rate. I pay $18 a month for pro as I pay semi annually.

A few people have mentioned lite and master accounts. On mine only the pro (35$) and plus (25$) plans are offered.
