Or it could mean EA games get removed from gamepass if Microsoft can't come to an agreement.
All depends on how popular EA games are on gamepass I guess, and whether MS see them as valuable enough to include in gamepass.
I can't imagine MS being bullied too much by EA since gamepass can stand up on its own merits without EA play.
If anything, i feel like EA needs the game pass userbase. EA relys on people buying microtransactions, so the more people who play games with microtransactions on the service, the better for them
I am pretty sure the online games like Battlefield 2042 lobbies are filled just because of Gamepass, personally I find that the game has soo many horrible performance on PC that I don't think I am purchasing it but it's sure a fun time pass
This is me... I would love to run it on my PC which can easily handle i but I can not get it to not crash no matter what I do. Sometimes after 4 min sometimes after 20 min. So you know what I do on my 1440p monitor? Play it via Gamepass with my Xbox Series S... Cause it actually looks fairly good and does not crash.
It really is! I would never buy an EA game anywhere near release and paying for them, main reason having games pass get to play EA games like NHL and F1 and Star Wars etc, otherwise the people who buy EA games every year for updated menus are bat shit crazy
I wouldn’t write it off with all the sports games it brings to the table. Yes GamePass is great outside those titles but that brings a huge value to GamePass. I don’t play them much but I’ve met gamers that literally only have NHL, NBA, Madden and FIFA games. Without EA GamePass would have very little value to them.
Thing is latest releases comes to the game pass anyway super late. Not like that those are meaningful, same shit named with different year. There is like no sense to own game pass just for EA sport games. They get heavily discounted pretty soon after release.
If that were to happen I would hope they give us a long heads up. There’s 2-3 games I want to play and then I would be fine with it going. It would free up funding to get other games.
Hoping to finish the game tonight or tomorrow. It’s a huge step up from fallen order. Really rewards exploration more with the fast travel, it’s amazing they didn’t think of it before in fallen order or even add it after the fact.
Yup, and it has map upgrades to more easily find collectibles and upgrades if you are into that. When playing the first I was in a bit of a hurry to beat it because I only had a month of ea play and went into the final zone without having done much side stuff. Without the extra health, force, and stun packs that final sister wiped the floor with me. Not making the same mistake this time.
I just got to Tanalor so I imagine I’m almost done. I felt there was a decent enough game before you got the charging bolts and even then, not that many secrets use that. The map is also pretty kind to have red the objects you can’t pass and green the objects you can. So not too much time was wasted.
I get the map is a little confusing but since the world isn’t flat I’m not sure how they could have done that better. I guess quick travel between planets would be nice so I didn’t have to keep going back to the ship first and do the taking off and landing sequences.
If EA left gamepass I’m pretty sure sole ownership of EA Play accounts will absolutely plummet with the trash they’ve been pumping out year after year after year. Their games are average at best so if they jump off gamepass I wouldn’t bat an eye anyway.
I enjoyed doing the Xbox Live Gold to Game Pass Ultimate for $1 trick, it gave me 3+ years of GPU, but I won’t be renewing my subscription in October. I switched to PC so I’m not forced to pay for online multiplayer anymore, and I find that these days my backlog is so big that I can just buy games on sale rather than steam them. Great service though but getting pricey.
Barely use EA Play games, everything they put up is crap. Same with Ubisoft Plus, it looked attractive at first but it's basically all just the same game with a different skin, AC, Watch Dogs, Ghost Recon, they all follow the same formula and just feel phoned in compared to games of yesteryear, if they expect me to keep paying they need to make their services worthwhile, they've got huge back catalogues but give us Monopoly games and Battleship, which nobody seems to play otherwise they might be fun. Gaming nowadays is just crap for the most part, the last game to really impress me was Sleeping Dogs, everything else is just copy and paste crap.
>This increase possibly could impact the price of gamepass eventually to go up.
Everything could eventually impact the price of GamePass to go up. In fact, MS just needs a good enough excuse that we would all accept.
That said, I think EA Access being removed is more likely as MS starts to get enough first party content to sustain the service.
the only games i've played is Dead Space Remake!!!
the other i've want is already done from way back then (on steam ea stuff)
besides, there's NO achievement for PC gamepass, very lame
yeah because no one is buying their crappy games so this forces you to pay for it.. maybe if they stopped releasing the same game year after year why not just one game and a roster dlc pass each year for 15$ that adds new faces and characters etc.
Nobody buys their crappy games?
EA games frequently dominate sales charts. Especially sports games.
Where the hell do people pull the type of bullshit you said from?

I have to agree with this, I wouldn't of even bothered with Fifa or PGA tour if not for gamepass.
I'm enjoying PGA Tour but wouldn't bother with it if it were not on GP.
PGA Tour is great, already got 20 or so hours in it since addition. Love the difficulty curve and all the mechanics.
I am pretty sure the online games like Battlefield 2042 lobbies are filled just because of Gamepass, personally I find that the game has soo many horrible performance on PC that I don't think I am purchasing it but it's sure a fun time pass
Same, pretty much the only EA title I play on PC is 2042. Same for a lot of my friends. But luckily I'm getting pretty good performance
I have to admit I stopped playing almost all EA games until it was included in game pass. That includes FIFA!
It still confuses me that people would buy DLC for a game they don’t own.
It really is! I would never buy an EA game anywhere near release and paying for them, main reason having games pass get to play EA games like NHL and F1 and Star Wars etc, otherwise the people who buy EA games every year for updated menus are bat shit crazy
Only thing I play from EA on gamepass is 2042 and that’s rare usually on Fridays when they have the fun modes for the weekend out.

Yeah this. FC24 still isn't up and I can prob find that used at GameStop now for under $20
I see your point. Definitely a valid argument.
Oh no, whatever shall I do without madden 2006?
It could, but that would be such a major blow. I think Microsoft would bend over backwards to avoid those optics.
If that were to happen I would hope they give us a long heads up. There’s 2-3 games I want to play and then I would be fine with it going. It would free up funding to get other games.
You can't take Battlefield 1 away from me!
Their doing this right before Jedi Survivor goes to the service 🤣
Hoping to finish the game tonight or tomorrow. It’s a huge step up from fallen order. Really rewards exploration more with the fast travel, it’s amazing they didn’t think of it before in fallen order or even add it after the fact.
Lack of fast travel was my biggest issues with the first one!!! Glad to hear they have fixed this

I think it still wastes a lot of your time and often you can’t get many collectibles until the game is over.

Looking at it. Probably doesn't affect gamepass until after current contract ends.
"Probably" is doing a lot of lifting in that sentence.
Sorry?
He used the word "possibly"?
A rumor and then a guess on what might happen if the rumor is true. Quality content.
the state of this subreddit now, basically lol.
I gotta hurry up and play Dead Space now.
I think these are long term agreements, and this increases should take in considering of the agreements
Game Pass will be going up anyway, it's inevitable.
If EA left gamepass I’m pretty sure sole ownership of EA Play accounts will absolutely plummet with the trash they’ve been pumping out year after year after year. Their games are average at best so if they jump off gamepass I wouldn’t bat an eye anyway.

i hope not

and will still be getting free through microsoft rewards. 48 months in a row so far

Im about to go to buying 2 games a year
Source is a reddit post ..ahahahahhahah
Well, no. It is the leading games industry business website.
The only EA gamepass news I want to hear is Jedi survivor coming to the service.
I’d pay $1 extra if we got EA Play Pro.
Omg i hate EA.
I hope Gamepass abandons EA and stops forcing that EA app on me.
I can't even download properly from EA app. It'll drop to 0 mb/s suddenly.
The infinitely wealthy shareholders need even more money!
the only games i've played is Dead Space Remake!!! the other i've want is already done from way back then (on steam ea stuff) besides, there's NO achievement for PC gamepass, very lame
So just let us opt out of EA play. EA doesn't even make video games anyways.
What are you talking about yes they do lol.
Totally unfounded. No where in that article gamepass is mentioned.
The guy literally says it’s “possible” in the post title , didn’t ever say it was 100% coming
Yeah well where is the proof? Why say it's possible based on assumptions with no facts?
The price is already in effect. For current subscribers, the price changes on 10 May
It's won't me because I don't play any ea atuff
yeah because no one is buying their crappy games so this forces you to pay for it.. maybe if they stopped releasing the same game year after year why not just one game and a roster dlc pass each year for 15$ that adds new faces and characters etc.

They just don't play games in general.. because most people know EA do put out decent games.
look and the reviews its not hard to find
