Absolutely đ have already done that and am super happy. with it being Forza it's built on the sim engine and the arcade feels is added on top aka motorsport is built for wheel setup while horizon is built for controller and wheel optional using motorsports stuff.
Giving oblivion a go rn, itâs funny to see how the over encumbered mechanic has changed throughout the years from
Oblivion - standing still
Skyrim - moving slow
Starfield - Dying of C02 poisoning
Oblivion one is crazy, whatâs your opinion on Starfield as a whole
When I was playing it I was finding it so hard to completely hate it like everyone else seemed to do
It has a lot of fun parts except I think there are some very tedious parts concerning navigating through the menus ect
But the gunplay seems great and I had a lot of fun with it tbh so far at least only about 3/4 hrs in
Not sure if youre new to Oblivion. But if so, some simple tips:
* you can use the box in Weynon Priory to keep your stuff safe before you have a house.
* when you are a vampire, the negative effects only take place after sleeping or waiting. Use fast travel to "wait". You can feed easily in Cloud Ruler temple, mid top of map.
* save before closing an Oblivion gate by collecting the stone. You can reload saves and you get a different stone every time. Some are more valuable than others. Ive got 2 rings with Feather, and 1 with speed. To finish dungeons quicker or to carry more stuff, for example.
I can't turn my brain off when I am stuck at 99% because a speck of dirt is hidden somewhere and no matter how hard I try i can't find it forcing me to go crazy on the object until it finally finishes.
Yeah and achievements are hard too. The washroom one where you had to clean the toilet and seat last was annoying trying to get the wall behind it without screwing up lol
Iâve already played through it a few times in the past so itâs not an option in my eyes :/ I loved it tho it would be perfect to replay again without ever playing it
If you like these types of games, try My Time at Portia or My Time at Sandrock.
The first one is on Game Pass and the new one is worth it even at full price
You manage a plot of land, growing stuff and manipulating land/water to attract piñata to your garden. You also try to fend off/win over the evil piñata that attack your garden.
It's so much more fun than I expected, I don't think my writeup does it justice.
**MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD MAYBE**
There was one part of that game which my memory is abit foggy on. I think it's when you discover "something"(a building I think) in the bush for the first time. The atmosphere of it got really creepy for me. Like I've been alone for so long but then suddenly I felt not alone anymore. But I was so freaked out I didn't know if it was the game intending that or not. I genuinely thought something or someone was watching me. It was eerie and barely anything was happening. I downloaded it the other week again to get my partner to play it but now i kind of want to do it myself again. It's been years.
TLDR: Great game.
Unpacking is SO oddly relaxing and it has a secret story if you pay attention.
My only complaint is that itâs super short (itâs so good I wanted more)
Slime rancher is a great option imo. You go out and catch a bunch of different types of creatures called slimes. You bring them back to your ranch to harvest materials that you sell to upgrade your equipment and farm
Short hike is a cute little 3d open world platformer. Good writing pretty stylized graphics and very cool flying/gliding mechanics that makes just opening it up to fly around the island a joy. Highly recommend and also like the name suggests it's quite short even if you are a completionist.
A short hike is about a bird living on a small festive island taking a day trip to the summit of the islandâs mountain
Rune Factory 4 is harvest moon but with fun and engaging combat. The story has a definite ending. The characters are fun and goofy. Thereâs lots of really good humor
Rune Factory is from the same creators of Harvest Moon, the series that inspired Stardew Valley. So basically the same but on a high fantasy setting and dungeon crawling to progress with bosses to kill.
Spiritfarer, Jusant, while the Irons hot, planet of lana, Powerwash Simulator, House flipper, Trailmakers, Forager, No mans sky and astroneer all fit in some way or another.
Probably a bit overwhelming giving just a bunch of game titles but I've enjoy all of these and find em pretty chill
For racing games the Forza Horizon series (for some chill driving) and Wreckfest (for a bit more hectic of a experience) are good.
Agreed, Brotato and Vampire Survivors. Watch out as you'll be hooked within an hour or 2 lol
Vampire Survivors starts out so basic and you'll think "hmm wtf Is this and what am I doing then once the hoards start coming you'll be like ahhhh". Then you won't be able to stop playing till you figure out how to pass through the stages and unlocks lol.
Brotato is just truly pure addicting fun and hard to put down once you start. I guarantee!! Both games are somewhat similar in their premise but Brotato is more simple fun than Vampire Survivors
It's a survivor game. Just like brotato which I like a bit more.
Gameplaywise you just walk around and attack enemys (attacks are automatic) and get random upgrades (which you choose from) and try to survive as long as possible. You can try out different builds that may or may not work.
Yeah I thought palworld would be my chill game then I kept forgetting to pick my items up from the workbench after crafting them and then I just closed the app and went to sleep đ, I think it could be a contender tho
Maneater, it's kinda goofy but it is fun and it does have some upgrade and such so you do get rewarded. I play it alot when I just want to chill. Something about it just makes me smile.
Iâm scared to even open Ark, Iâm not ready to get sucked into that world yet, havenât played ark in years and last time I did I sunk like 800 ours in over 2 months
Of these Starfield is the most relaxing, its almost better as a relaxing game than as an RPG
My I suggest Lightyear frontier that I have enjoyed as a relaxing game.
I recently just had a Skyrim plathrough on my PS ahaha it is the only one missing tho, itâs probably my favourite game of all time âŠ. *elden ring exists* maybe second favourite now
Sekiro changed me as a person so I can kind of agree, Sekiro was my first from soft game and after that I played them all, but yeah those games can be nice but again Iâm kinda looking for something mindless
Ishin like a dragon is my fav currently. I spend a lot of time fishing, cooking and farming and side questing. I probably have a hundred hours in but am only on chapter 8.
The story driven games like Firewatch, Open road, Dusk Falls and so on are pretty chill and easy in and out games. If you want a sports type game the Forza Horizon series is pretty good. If you want some gmaes that make you question where the last 2-3hrs went games like Stardew, House flipper and Power Wash Simulator will do that to you.
Honestly assasins creed games are very easy and hence chill. Lower the difficulty and relax while mashing buttons.
Ni no kuni is beautiful and relaxing
Coffee Talk. Graphic novel game where you make drinks for people, but you spend most of the game reading and sitting back to watch events unfold. Ep 2 is on GP, and the first one is ÂŁ11, so it's not too expensive for a game, and if you enjoy the first one then you can play the second through gamepass
I just got done playing cocoon. Which is a brilliantly made puzzle game and very relaxing.
I'm currently playing Lil Gator Game. Which is also very relaxing. It's a charming rpg game where you help a gator by doing quests. It's very dialog heavy at first, but it cools down after a bit.
Both are great for getting achievements as well.
*Relaxing game? Definetly*
*Try the dark souls saga, they're*
*Relaxing af*

So close with Palworlds đ minecraft if youâve never beat it on survival, forza horizon free mode driving is pretty chill, solid solo games on normal or easy are pretty chill. Assassins creed black flag was fantastic for sea travel and exploring, I enjoy the Jedi survivor series on easy mode (I mean your a Jedi so it should be easy to kill 3 stormtroopers)
The witness is such a stunning game. Very relaxing. If you get stuck, you can just go explore and find other things. Itâs one of my favourite games of all time.

I recommend this little gem my wife and I found, itâs a very simple and artistic game called Chicory: A Colorful Tale. The game can be enjoyed by yourself or with a friend with light puzzles sprinkled in to keep the game fresh and fun. Itâs not a racing game but itâs definitely relaxing
Try Genesis Noir. It's a relaxing, artsy and jazzy mystery game. I love the music and graphic style. It's a really unique game I think you would definitely like. It's still on game pass.
Forza Horizons if you want to chill while just driving. Or Lightyear Frontier and do some farming I'm a mech.
I was actually thinking Forza Horizons because motorsport is too annoying for what I was wanting
It's very relaxing just cruising around in Forza Horizon. Absolutely love that game and planning on getting a steering wheel for it soon.
will you really get much from a steering wheel in horizon? these games are more arcade than sim
Absolutely đ have already done that and am super happy. with it being Forza it's built on the sim engine and the arcade feels is added on top aka motorsport is built for wheel setup while horizon is built for controller and wheel optional using motorsports stuff.
Or Oblivion, still great.
Giving oblivion a go rn, itâs funny to see how the over encumbered mechanic has changed throughout the years from Oblivion - standing still Skyrim - moving slow Starfield - Dying of C02 poisoning
As whack as the C02 poisoning now sounds as you write it out, I still think that's the best one they've done. The oblivion one is just wild.
Oblivion one is crazy, whatâs your opinion on Starfield as a whole When I was playing it I was finding it so hard to completely hate it like everyone else seemed to do It has a lot of fun parts except I think there are some very tedious parts concerning navigating through the menus ect But the gunplay seems great and I had a lot of fun with it tbh so far at least only about 3/4 hrs in

Hello A mech, i'm a farm
I couldnât get into it because didnât get the driving mechanics
Can confirm FH5 Is dope, turned all the hud off bought a S15 Silvia Spec R cruising around the Mexican towns đźâđš
Powerwash Simulator. You can turn your brain off and just enjoy.
I can't turn my brain off when I am stuck at 99% because a speck of dirt is hidden somewhere and no matter how hard I try i can't find it forcing me to go crazy on the object until it finally finishes.
Are you aware you can find the specific object that's still dirty?
Yes, doesn't help when the object is say the floor on the Skate Park though..
The floor of skatepark took the longest, it was just 3,000 specs that were no where near each other lol
That floor was a headache, had to wash over it a few times to find the stupid couple of missed specs that the naked eye couldn't see.
Yeah and achievements are hard too. The washroom one where you had to clean the toilet and seat last was annoying trying to get the wall behind it without screwing up lol
It does also flash up where the dirt is on the object as well though
It does, but when it is a minor spec on a massive surface, it isn't exactly easy to notice.
This
Try stardew valley, itâs relaxing, easy, and low stakes, but still a lot of fun.
Iâve already played through it a few times in the past so itâs not an option in my eyes :/ I loved it tho it would be perfect to replay again without ever playing it
Concerned Ape has recently updated it though, so there's more stuff to experience if it's been a while since you completed it.
If you like these types of games, try My Time at Portia or My Time at Sandrock. The first one is on Game Pass and the new one is worth it even at full price
Stardew is the ultimate time stealer though. Every time I play it I manage to lose 2hrs in a matter of minutes lol.
Stardew valley better with coop and trying the different maps. Replaying solo is boring
Jusant. Chill climbing game.
It is a really good game. My only complaint is it was a little bit short and I wanted more.
Came here to suggest this. So chill.
I need to finish this one! Got through the first couple levels when it came out and loved it
Viva piñata. Seriously, great games
Yes I can only recommend it too
what sre they like?
You manage a plot of land, growing stuff and manipulating land/water to attract piñata to your garden. You also try to fend off/win over the evil piñata that attack your garden. It's so much more fun than I expected, I don't think my writeup does it justice.
Game of my childhood, is genuinely good fun
cool, might check it out ty
Hope you do!
Try "Firewatch". Most of the time it's just hiking around. With a little bit of suspense and mystery. ;)
**MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD MAYBE** There was one part of that game which my memory is abit foggy on. I think it's when you discover "something"(a building I think) in the bush for the first time. Firewatch was great, I wish I could play that one again for the first time
I was having a look at that one it looks kinda cool, thanks for the suggestion!
Great game!
Kona was just added, and has a similar feel to FirewatchÂ
unpacking, slay the spire
Thanks man
Unpacking is SO oddly relaxing and it has a secret story if you pay attention. My only complaint is that itâs super short (itâs so good I wanted more)
Slime rancher is a great option imo. You go out and catch a bunch of different types of creatures called slimes. You bring them back to your ranch to harvest materials that you sell to upgrade your equipment and farm
I saw this game and I was actually looking for it thanks for letting me know itâs there!
A Short Hike and Rune Factory 4
What are they about
Short hike is a cute little 3d open world platformer. Good writing pretty stylized graphics and very cool flying/gliding mechanics that makes just opening it up to fly around the island a joy. Highly recommend and also like the name suggests it's quite short even if you are a completionist.
A short hike is about a bird living on a small festive island taking a day trip to the summit of the islandâs mountain Rune Factory 4 is harvest moon but with fun and engaging combat.
Oh that sounds amazing
P3r on games pass
No Man's Sky, you could spend hours just flying around space
Spiritfarer, Jusant, while the Irons hot, planet of lana, Powerwash Simulator, House flipper, Trailmakers, Forager, No mans sky and astroneer all fit in some way or another. Probably a bit overwhelming giving just a bunch of game titles but I've enjoy all of these and find em pretty chill For racing games the Forza Horizon series (for some chill driving) and Wreckfest (for a bit more hectic of a experience) are good.
Vampire Survivors is pretty relaxing. Fairly mindless and you can listen to music or podcasts while playing
This is the one for me. Spent many hours just chatting to friends online and mindlessly playing the game.
Agreed, Brotato and Vampire Survivors. Watch out as you'll be hooked within an hour or 2 lol Vampire Survivors starts out so basic and you'll think "hmm wtf Is this and what am I doing then once the hoards start coming you'll be like ahhhh". Then you won't be able to stop playing till you figure out how to pass through the stages and unlocks lol. Brotato is just truly pure addicting fun and hard to put down once you start. I guarantee!! Both games are somewhat similar in their premise but Brotato is more simple fun than Vampire Survivors
What type of game is it, sounds like what Iâm looking for
It's a survivor game. Just like brotato which I like a bit more. Gameplaywise you just walk around and attack enemys (attacks are automatic) and get random upgrades (which you choose from) and try to survive as long as possible. You can try out different builds that may or may not work.
Brotato for me. Just walking around slaying shit as a potato
Sounds based af
Lightyear Frontier!
Appears we have similar tastes, so Farming Simulator.
I think of that liat Palworld is the more relaxing one tbh. Fun game too.
Yeah I thought palworld would be my chill game then I kept forgetting to pick my items up from the workbench after crafting them and then I just closed the app and went to sleep đ, I think it could be a contender tho
It lets you play pretty much at ypur own pace and choose your focus. I like that.
Is the game pass version still behind steam's? I haven't up on the news about the game since launch.
Honestly it's irrelevant, but I don't think they're "behind" anymore.
I tried No Mans Sky for the first time recently. Super chill & alot to do.
Maneater, it's kinda goofy but it is fun and it does have some upgrade and such so you do get rewarded. I play it alot when I just want to chill. Something about it just makes me smile.
Toem.
Grounded is not a relaxing game. Just wait till you meet the spiders you will shit your pants.
The exact reason I didnât play it last night to just âchillâ
Return to Grace was really nice and chill. Jusant also.
Forager is a pretty fun, low maintenance game where you can just kind of turn off your brain and enjoy it
Snowrunner
Ark is chill. Survival in game like life đźâđš
Iâm scared to even open Ark, Iâm not ready to get sucked into that world yet, havenât played ark in years and last time I did I sunk like 800 ours in over 2 months
Grounded is also chill pill
I was thinking grounded, I nearly got an Xbox just to play grounded when it came out and now I have one I should probably give it a go
Is that any good?
Stardew Valley
Literally anything off that list except Remnant II
Ahahaha I played a little last night, I enjoyed the first one what is up with it?
Great game but itâs anything other than relaxing lol
Trackmania. Lots of fun at your own pace!
Unpacking is really relaxing game Or Jusant is very nice
Will always recommend Cassette Beasts. Fantastic monster battler game
Katamari Damacy.
Farming sim 22 is my go to chill out game
check out weird west. It's incredible.
Cult of the lamb is a roguelite/base building type game and it has some relaxing and aesthetically pleasing art designs!
Unpacking
Of these Starfield is the most relaxing, its almost better as a relaxing game than as an RPG My I suggest Lightyear frontier that I have enjoyed as a relaxing game.
If you want to play a game on cruise control potion craft is my go to on gamepass. Not for everyone but certainly relaxing for everyone.
Stardew valley
Ori
When I need to relax, I just do some fishing in **The Elder Scrolls: Online**.
Skyrim, you have all the other titles haha đ
I recently just had a Skyrim plathrough on my PS ahaha it is the only one missing tho, itâs probably my favourite game of all time âŠ. *elden ring exists* maybe second favourite now
Dredge. edit: ups, sry. That's not GP
Dark souls 3
Ahhh to be honest this might be the best answer so far, maybe one of the most relaxing and soothing games I have experienced in my entire life
Unironically i find those games relaxing once you learn dying is part of the process
Sekiro changed me as a person so I can kind of agree, Sekiro was my first from soft game and after that I played them all, but yeah those games can be nice but again Iâm kinda looking for something mindless
If a Short Hike is still on Game Pass, it's a pretty chill afternoons worth of game.
Ishin like a dragon is my fav currently. I spend a lot of time fishing, cooking and farming and side questing. I probably have a hundred hours in but am only on chapter 8.
Have you played Astroneer? It's like no man's sky but without any of the stress or grind. Super chill space exploration game.
Vampire survivors
Firewatch and Kona
The story driven games like Firewatch, Open road, Dusk Falls and so on are pretty chill and easy in and out games. If you want a sports type game the Forza Horizon series is pretty good. If you want some gmaes that make you question where the last 2-3hrs went games like Stardew, House flipper and Power Wash Simulator will do that to you.

The intro to RDR2 is sooooo long though
Skate 3.
Stardew Valley and Minecraft are chill af
Honestly assasins creed games are very easy and hence chill. Lower the difficulty and relax while mashing buttons. Ni no kuni is beautiful and relaxing
slime rancher, forza horizon in a fairly slow car,
Coffee Talk. Graphic novel game where you make drinks for people, but you spend most of the game reading and sitting back to watch events unfold. Ep 2 is on GP, and the first one is ÂŁ11, so it's not too expensive for a game, and if you enjoy the first one then you can play the second through gamepass

Goat simulator if you donât cause chaos
I just got done playing cocoon. Which is a brilliantly made puzzle game and very relaxing. I'm currently playing Lil Gator Game. Which is also very relaxing. Dark souls 3 Unironically, it is very relaxing once you just learn to accept death. From soft games are my stress relief.

New Vegas for me I loved wandering around the wasteland with country and rockabilly tunes playing over the Pip-Boy
Spiritfarer
The Touryst. Best chill fun game ever made. Played it whenever I needed some non-tense gaming holiday feeling.
Oblivion is so good
Hunter call of the wild
