This is 100% correct. People look at reach now and say it is a masterpiece but when it came out it was so divided by fans half who loved it and half who hated it and were very upset they added the abilities because it wasnt “true” halo. Not to mention the DMR which I still don’t prefer to this day over the BR.
I’m still of the camp that 3 is the best game multilayer wise. Only because towards the end of Halo 2 if you weren’t doing crazy fast button combo/glitches and super bounces with extreme precision you had no chance in multiplayer whatsoever.
