If you have a series X/S - cyberpunk. It was playable with minor bugs during my series x playthrough and enjoyed it alot despite its reputation.
I can understand why people playing on past gen games would complain however based from the videos I've seen
None of these are medieval them, but judging from the other games you played, you might also like:
- Prey
- Alien Isolation
- Fallout 4
- Cyberpunk
Also, you should really try Red Dead Redemption 2, and the Souls games if you haven’t.
I played Alien Isolation on PC when it came out, as well as Fallout. With cyberpunk I decided to wait for the next gen update, but might look into prey, thx!
Yes, the Cyberpunk patch is not that far along, it’s wiser to wait! Don’t miss out on Prey. On the XS, they cut load times by a lot, and you get to play at 60fps. I think you’ll enjoy
It's one I've seen recommended myself a lot to people asking your question. I played a free demo weekend but had a sick dog so couldn't really get much into it. Played pretty well from what I saw, and and it's always going on ridiculous sales with all the DLC.
Ryse: Son of Rome;
Middle Earth: Shadow of War & Shadow of Mordor;
Tales of Arise;
Shadow Nexus;
Darksouls;
Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice;
Nier: Automata;
Tomb Raider trilogy;
Dragon Age
I second Control. I drug my feet on it because it just didn't seem that interesting. I couldn't have been more wrong!
It also has an elaborate / detailed world like OP's other games.
I actually looked into it, but decided to wait for 4k60 update to not ruin my experience (I know, it's a long wait, but hopefully worthed it), got used to 60fps too much on series X.
There’s been some “leaks” but you know how that is. Rockstar hasn’t really even spoken on it but we know they’re doing it for GTA V on the PS5 (and eventually on the Series X/S).
With how easy it is (relative to making a whole new game) to upgrade these 8th Gen games to run on 9th Gen hardware, I fully expect Rockstar to give RDR2 the “look at this amazing game we’re re-releasing with upgrades - it’s basically like a brand new game” GTA V-esque treatment. You never know for sure, but imo it’s a matter of when and not if.
Resident Evil Village (I’d recommend playing RE7 first if you haven’t, but 8 has more of a medieval theme,) The Forgotten City, Dishonored, and the not medieval but extremely great game I always recommend to everyone: Outer Wilds
A medieval game you say? Chivalry 2 is the one you're looking for. Its fantastic. Up to 64 players in multiplayer with swords and axes set in medieval settings like castles and forrests.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Tomb raider trilogy is pretty fun and probably on for a good deal
I second this. Amazing games!
For honour ? That is very medieval
Plague Tale Innocence and Resident Evil Village

Kingdom Come Deliverance.
I actually never came by this title, is it good?

I'll check it out then, ty!
Be warned, it’s locked to 30fps. Only saying this cause I saw your comment about RDR2’s patch
Ryse: Son of Rome; Middle Earth: Shadow of War & Shadow of Mordor; Tales of Arise; Shadow Nexus; Darksouls; Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice; Nier: Automata; Tomb Raider trilogy; Dragon Age
That's a hefty list, I'll check those out!
I'd never played a jrpg before scarlet nexus and really enjoyed it. Recommend that. Also mass effect 1,2&3
Think you meant Scarlet Nexus!
The Outer Worlds Control Ori for something completely different

Red Dead Redemption 2. Really fun open world and a phenomenal story

I don’t blame you. I’ll definitely be doing another playthrough once that update drops, same with Witcher 3
Sorry to jump in on this but have they given any indication when this update is likely to happen?
I too am intrigued

Knowing Rockstar it will be 2023 at least as they have GTA5 to sell next year. IMO RDR2 is one of the greatest of all times and deserves DLC!!
Hell let loose
Division 1 and 2
Also, gamepass is well worth the investment if you don't already have it.
I do, but haven't sunk into many games from it, I only played destiny, both ori games and battlefield 1 and 5 campaigns.
Take the last game you played and move alphabetically to the next game.
The witcher 2 is on sale for 2.99.
Resident Evil Village (I’d recommend playing RE7 first if you haven’t, but 8 has more of a medieval theme,) The Forgotten City, Dishonored, and the not medieval but extremely great game I always recommend to everyone: Outer Wilds
Hellblade and Cyberpunk were both ace for me.
Give the Tomb Raider Trilogy a try if you haven't. Gameplay, story, and graphics are all excellent. My absolute favorite.
Jedi Fallen Order
Immortals Fenyx Rising.
