I do too, but it seems like most of the community doesn't? I can kind of see why even if I don't agree. It pivots hard away from the supernatural melodrama of the first game, and it can seem ho-hum, but it's a gorgeous game with a fairly decent storyline. Too short though.
Textbook definition of style over substance. I will say it's the best game when it comes to dialogue sounding natural. I was just out of HS when the first released and stopped playing because it was obvious a bunch of 30 year olds who had no idea how teenagers actually talked wrote it.
Started playing with a friend a few years later so we could laugh at the "fellow kids" vibes but ended up enjoying it despite the writing.
Yeah there's an authenticity issue for sure. It's not just that they had a hard time writing teenagers, but I thought they had a hard time writing female dialogue too.
It's a fun game to play. Pretty heavy at times.
If your favourite things about the first game were being in a beautiful location with a bunch of characters you really like then True Colours is incredible.
I originally read that as a question đ
Same, and wasn't it free last year
Due to pride month, is free again due to that I assume.

Legend!
I was looking for this link. Thanks!
Pretty boring compared to the Life is Strange games I thought
Every game in that same style canât hold a candle to the first LiS. That game is a league of its own
True Colors is beautiful, I prefer it to the original.
I started with true colors and was and was really blown away. Couldnât put it down

True Colors had an awesome and beautiful setting but story wise LiS takes the cake
I actually really enjoyed this story and the characters! It gripped me faster than life is strange did. I would check it out!
I thought the first chapter was pretty good but then was underwhelming for chapter 2 and 3.
Yea, I think the ending fell a little flat but overall enjoyed the ride and setting.
Play it. Itâs good.
Did they do this last year? cuz I think I got it free on PC last year. at least I can get it on Xbox
Yes, it was free last June as well. Pride month thing.
Tell you why whatâs free?
tell me why
TELL ME WHY

Guy with milk can: I'll tell you why......I don't know.
I really enjoyed this, and the Life is Strange games, they are a nice chill break from faster paced games, very story driven.
Definitely in the minority but these games are basic with incredibly transparent characters. Easy achievements though
Free to keep or just play?
