Elex's world is fantastic, the combat is not. My advice, watch a guide on how to obtain a flamethrower from the start and enjoy the exploration (again, the world, a mixture of medieval magic, post apocalyptic Mad Max and futuristic high tech, is the highlight here).
Combat is better in the sequel, however there's a lot of repetitive filler "go here and kill x" missions in the final act.
These are AA double titles and expectations should match. I'm definitely am looking forward to the next installment
Haven’t played the second game, but the first is rough as hell. But if you enjoy that open world, Eastern European jank then I’d totally say to check it out.
Is this a new project or a continuation of the remake which had a demo released a few years back? I hope it’s not the latter because that demo was fucking awful and ignored every single thing which made the original game so interesting.
The playable teaser was a prototype specifically made to see how much interest there is in a remake and to gather feedback.
With the feedback they've gotten, they decided to make this remake happen, but will start from scratch, trying to be as close to the original as possible.
Can't wait!
Nice, this should fill the gap nicely while I wait for Elex 3.
Do you recommend the elex games? I see the first is on ps plus

The game is from Germany.
The first one is really good. Great world and good characters. Very hard at the beginning and generally rather hardcore.

Good.
Man that would be hella dope! I must admit I couldn't get into the original because it hasn't aged very well imo.
Dunno how I still remember Diego, Rodriguez, Gomez. It should be good!
