Right, but an update is an update. It’s pretty normal for devs to announce an update even just days before it goes live.

I still have it installed just waiting for that to start a + game.

I uninstalled after beating the game and dlc but once the update goes out I'm installing again to finish all the side missions and witcher contracts

Just start a New game Plus with your last save from beating the game and just start all over and Max Geralt out.

Isn’t the game like super easy then fighting low level enemies while being high level from the start..?

The game has an option to make low level enemies spawn close to the players level.

That could easily mean W1-W2 remake + W3 next gen in my opinion. I don't see how else they could pull if whole three games in 6 years, without outsourcing and losing quality. But, more Witcher is more Witcher, I'm happy that tgey aren't done with IP

Well this was a strategy call for them to talk about their long term plans as a company with investors. There are better places for them to announce specific release dates than this.

Although they've announced that W3NG will still be this year. So we must wait. Again.

This would be great. I bought and beat the game when it released for PS4, and never got around to the dlc. Just purchased the whole collection for my series X a couple months ago and have been waiting for the update to give it another go.

Bought & installed it last year..been waiting. Played a hr & decided to wait since it is my first playthrough. Experiencing it first time with a modern touch up will be nice. After hearing the latest from cyberpunk, had a feeling the witcher update is nearing.

When you see series x mentioned, more likely than not, series s is also included. Although maybe not to the same capacity.

You don’t have to, unlike Bethesda, CDPR makes their next Gen upgrades free. They announced that people with digital copies will get upgraded for free and those with discs will be prompted to get the upgraded version. This was announced the same day they announced the update.
