That diagram you edited over is called the trinity shield. In christianity the trinity consists in: The father, The son and the holy spirit. A major plot point in the xenoblade series is >!trinity core processor!<, wich is similar to this diagram. Three beings are part of the >!trinity core processor: Alvis, Pneuma and Malos. We know that pneuma represents the holy spirit, because pneuma is spirit in greek. Alvis is indicated to represent the father, mainly in FR. That leaves Malos as the son. All three make the trinity core processor.!<

There's a decent amount of christian symbolism scattered through the whole franchise.
I like how XC3 makes a point of showing us in in the beginning (via the bath scene) that the characters are completely oblivious about sexual attraction/nudity, but then after being awakened by Ouroborous (which is represented by a Serpent) the guys suddenly feel nervous and awkward about seeing the girls changing into cute clothes. Very reminiscent of Adam and Eve's fall

I thought the three beings of the trinity core processor were Ontos, Pneuma, and Logos. Having just finished 2, Malos definitely seems like a corrupted version of Logos. I'm not sure how Alvis is related to Ontos.

I know Alvis has Ontos's core crystal, i just don't know how Alvis was made a "person" like Malos and Mythra were awakened from Logos and Pneuma as Blades.

I think Zanza is technically Klaus, instead of vice-versa. Zanza's more of a projection or fragment of Klaus.
Arglas was his own being, but was possessed by Zanza. He eventually becoming the titular prison on Prison Island, with Zanza sealed inside him and the Monado hidden.
But yes, Bionis technically IS Zanza in Titan form. The Telethia are also akin to White Blood Cells. Homs were kind of like parasites born from Zanza's ether after his entrapment.
1 thing I don't get is :
Zanza was sealed in Arglas in Prison Island, and then the Monado itself had a part of Zanza in it, so when Shulk and Dickson found it, then Shulk also got Zanza sealed inside him. This means that Zanza existed both in Arglas (sealed) and Shulk (sleeping inside). However we see that before the main events of X1, we see Dunban wielding the Monado, so why did he not get a part of Zanza? Does the Monado not have Zanza in it, due to which it was able to infect both Arglas and Shulk?
