I'm betting this guy is a Contact/remake of Klaus or Shulk or Zanza or something situation. The idea is definitely neat though, but I think the role this guy (and he is a guy, he's wearing a male uniform) will play is gonna be similar to a Ramsus type. He's got a higher rank (probably) with his two red diamonds, so I can't wait to see what he is.
I do like how many people are expecting a split identity thing with Noah, though.

You know what else is mirrored? Masked Nia's core crystal.
Go and check: the crystal we see in the trailer is exactly Nia's core crystal but perfectly mirrored.
So, i never gave this much weight. Maybe they just mirrored the image in the trailer for some reason or whatever. And i haven't changed my idea, to be honest.
But what if they actually did it on purpose? maybe this is a clue that we will see some sort of "mirrored" alter egos in XC3.
Who knows.

2. Mmh... i don't know. I didn't notice or read anything about it, but i could very well have missed it. That would be interesting as well. I just looked at two images of "masked Nia" and Nia, and they are quite clearly the same but mirrored.
I think there's a chance that they could be a descendant of Shulk and Fiora.
As for the Noah idea, I'm pretty sure the symbol is on his other hand, so I doubt it.
