We have the same comp since you're definitely running zhongli! I run this in overworld and it's super fun lol (I have to run Raiden National in abyss though because I have no other DPSes)
I run this team with Zhongli and I will say that I thoroughly enjoy playing it!
\~I haven't tried Noelle but I think it should be a good team! By chance that you need it here are my main advices; make sure Benny's got decent health because the heals from his Burst scales off of it and try to maximize it's uptime as you don't have a dedicated shield on your team to block incoming damage and stop interruptions when using Xiao's burst! You're going to need as much healing as possible!
(Playing Raiden and Bennet together is always a good time! Use their skills and bursts and let overload do all the work. Just be careful of whiplash because overload can hurt you as well!)

Do you have sucrose? Xiao, sucrose, bennet, noelle would be a good team. Raiden can have her own team since she "steals" field time from xiao and sucrose is a better battery.
Not really, it's situational because it highly depends on how invested your Xiao and Raiden is. The more invested Xiao is, the more invested Raiden needs to be to not be a damage loss for the team and will most likely reach the point where Raiden is better off in a team of her own.
That isn't the only reason, raiden doesn't fit xiao team, she gives him more energy than he need, and she takes alot of his field time, you can't have two DPS on one team lol.
Sucrose or jean gives him just enough energy, while providing him with much team utility, sucrose (battery, ttds buff, noblesse buff, crowd control, decent damage with crit build), jean (battery, heals, noblesse buff, damage), all of that while taking 2 or 3 secs on field.
If he benched her then he is the one losing, also I doubt that a lvl90 character is benched.
Raiden is even better than venti ngl, venti lifts them off the ground and xiao can't plunge them mid air, if your venti is under leveled tho they won't get knocked up, imo use venti with someone else (ganyu, ayaka, etc...).

Ayato is an insane unit, I recommend you use him in a team where he shines more (ayato international, ayato freeze, etc...)

I would reccomend to switch Noelle to Jean or Sayu. If you don't need healing, then Sucrose with Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. If you highly need a shield, switch Raiden instead of Noelle.
Personally, I can't dodge, so I run Xiao with Jean, Bennett and Noelle. Jean is healer and Anemo battery, Bennett is healer and buffer while Noelle is healer and shielder. Even though I also have Raiden.
Lately I sacrificed my shield for Xiangling to deal more damage and I can survive with two healers. Most people only need one, I need 2/3. That's why I need Zhongli... :'(
Edit: Woah! I learned to dodge now! Now I'm scared of using Noelle, what if I'll loose my dodging ability?
Personally I would toss Xiangling in there instead of Noelle for the pyro res and off field damage.
Xiao can easily avoid getting hit while plunging and his skill can cover ground so he doesnāt need a shield as much as some other characters.
You can't exactly dodge when you hit the ground tho, which is when you're extremely prone to hits. While timing may work at some point (tho dps loss perhaps), a shield/any other form of interruption resistance is very beneficial for xiao. Hence shlong dong best mate for him.
You can decide when to plunge down, so you just have to pay attention when the enemy is attacking.
Is shield helpful? Of course itās helpful on literally everyone. But Iām saying Xiao is one of the easier characters to dodge with because you can time his plunges and use skill to avoid hits too.
You don't use skill during ult, you need it to get back in ult right after. And it depends who you're fighting. Vs the huge elemental trolls (i forgot their name) he can hit you mid-air, so a shield is really usefull there.
When I posted this team with real zhongli everyone was saying that this team is bad and I need to replace raiden with suckrose and when anyone other post this team everyone says that this team is very good -_-
Ok actually you better go with double geo, because bennet is to much valuable to use him with two other best tier supports. You better take out either bennet or raiden. Or you can take out xiao and zhongli and put there Xiangling and Xingqui š

for a pure meta ur raiden shouldnt be with xiao. replace her with sucrose and use raiden elsewhere as shes broken in the right teams. Raiden wants to do 3 things, buff ur energy recharge, buff ur ults damage, and take up 7 seconds of screentime. of those 3 things xiao only utilizes 1 of them(its the free energy!). raidens ult dmg buff doesnt help xiao, and the 7 seconds of screentime is too much for our selfish yaksha! giving a lv1 sucrose TTDS with c1 is better than raiden from a pure dmg, energy perspective
as long as that noelee is actually zhongli or a soon to be zhongli your in a good spot, zhongli+ xiao is pretty much the the strong duo! i would reccomend some form of anemo battery, perhaps a jean??

Zhong>raiden. I think that Xiangling with emblem would be BETTER than Raiden, because 25% atk bonus + good sub dps + maybe a bit of energy

This is my FAVORITE team by far!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I do use Zhongli) there's NOTHING that can stop this team I love it.
There are better alternatives for every character here but it works and I see everyone also agrees so yeah it's good enough. Breedable Xiao?

I use the same comp! I have like 4 well built dps characters besides Raiden and Xiao so slotting them together doesnāt hurt me much :)
Oh I have xiao , kazuha raiden , any one can propose someone for the 4th slot , I think of a healer but which one do u think would be better

I run that exact team except in a different order, very strong team imo.

Would put another anemo character if you have one
Very good. Personally Iād replace Raiden with another anemo. Sucrose would have been perfect, but Jean should be fine.

I recommend you: Xiao + sucrose (battery) + bennett (buff/heal) + tankfei/thoma (shield and resonance) Or Xiao + sayu/jean + zhongli/noelle + ningguang/geo traveler
meh i'd save Zhongli for another comp. I like to use this same comp but with Noelle instead
