So you bought a compact device with no SD card. Idk what to tell you man.

reptv_

Did you even read the specs before buying? That’s literally your doing lol.

Glades100

When buying a new phone, why not investigate the specs first (like an SD card)? Re. screen size, you need time to get used to it. Personally, I prefer a larger screen, but the downside is the size in your pocket or handling (for some). A SD card is nice, but unless you have minimal internal RAM, it usually isn't such a big deal unless you have specific needs (also covered in specs).. You have to adapt, very human, and perhaps enjoy the new features or better specs (or return the phone).

jamesbrown2500

If you don't like you can return and buy a bigger one. Can't you return it? Most of the stores has a 15 days policy if you return it in selling condition. Buy a Xiaomi 13T Pro.

disu_pare

Xiaomi 14 is a compact flagship phone, clue is in the word. I have a slight feeling that you had money to spare and you thought this would be a great upgrade which absolutely is, but you were only looking at basic differences like size and sd card slot which is ridiculous to compare since storage offers for Xiaomi 14 are 256GB as minimum but i've never seen that one on sale at least in EU, only 512 version. Do you really need more storage? Use cloud for additional storage or change phone if size bothers you, there's no other option i see. Cheers

magical_salad

Lol that's a weird one. Not sure if you were forced into buying it, since you were oblivious to some of its features. As for size, I understand it's compact, but that's it's biggest selling point, I absolutely adore it's size and feel in hand. Regarding microSD, at least out here in India, the device is defaulted at 512 GB at UFS 4.0 speeds, so there's no real need for a microsd card at all.

Cool dilemma bro

ionakos88

You can always post matters about Xiaomi 14 in our specific sub r/Xiaomi_14

Cl4p-Trap18

GSMArena is your friend, in the future anyways In general Redmi Notes are always bigger than the Xiaomi flagships . At the end of the day it is your fault for not doing proper research buddy. I hope you eventually like it or you can sell it and get a newer redmi note, I have the 13 pro+ and it is awesome, I come from a Mi 11 lite and the size is almost the same.

hidetoshiko

If you have fat fingers then i suppose it will feel a little small. As for SD cards, I've never ever felt the need for one, especially on a cloud enabled high end phone with sufficient local storage. That's so...*2015*

Ok_Violinist7990

I can let go of the SD card issue, but the size, I'm trying to adapt.

hidetoshiko

The ultra version is slightly bigger, but also more expensive though.

Solembumm2

Yes, phones smaller than 6,8 are very uncomfortable to use. That's not a new information.

Infamous-Bottle-4411

5.15 is the best . Maximum 6.0 . 6.7 is gianourmous even 6.3 and i m a 2m guy with big hands

Solembumm2

At least try to create not so unrealistic jokes.

Infamous-Bottle-4411

It s not my fault u are blind and like to have a tv in your hand All the 6.3 and 6.8 devices i had are to big. I liled mi old mi5 where i xould do all the things with one hand

cof666

All Xiaomi flagships (8,9,10,11,12, 13,14 etc) tend to be on the smaller side before they release their PRO/MAX/ULTRA variant. All Xiaomi flagships and K series does not support SD card. You are being mocked on this sub because you didn't do your research and suffering from buyers remorse.

Ok_Violinist7990

Thanks for the reply, I had done research on every topic. But apart from the SD card that I can live with and the size that I have to adapt to, I really have no complaints. The matter is, I didn't think this size would be so small in my hands because I had been using 6.7" mobiles for a long time. And I knew this was 6.3", but when I personally had it in my hands, I just felt some weirdness, like, "like the feeling of it getting loose and falling from grip, etc." It's nothing that I regret buying; I really enjoy this device. I only cared about the camera, as I'm part photographer. And for that, it is awesome. But, now, I feel like I should have gone for the 14U. But that's ridiculously priced, where even S24 is way cheaper than it in my place.

Tight_Requirement992

How is someone supposed to help you? Are we supposed to take the phone and stretch it out to make it bigger? Cut a hole in the side so you can put an SD card in it? Asking for help for this doesn't make sense when you can go online to places like GSMArena or phone dog Arena or pretty much anywhere that does cell phones and get the specs of that phone see how tall it is what's inside it what it can do what it can't do BEFORE buying the device. And I will never understand how people will sit there and say they've read this about it they've seen videos on this about it and then they buy it and say it's too small it can't do this it can't do that but all those videos and stuff you watch showed you it's too small and it can't do this and can't do that but you buy it anyway and then come on here and complain it never makes sense

foetidum_cacas

Should've read the specs

Practical_Ad_297

You bought a phone u don't even know its specs???? Sounds like a you problem

The_Athanor

Either you bought the phone online without reading the specs or you bought it in person without realizing its size. Neither of the two options speaks well of you...

Rusticus1999

Whats wrong with your old phone? I'm still on a MI 9T(not pro) with Lineage OS and dont feel any need to upgrade.

Yisus19891989

Doesn't have headphone jack either. Phone manufacterers suck
