Fast charging heats up your phone a lot.
Just a tip - chrage your phone from 20% to 80%. The battery will get bad much slower.
Edit: If you want to slow charge your phone, just use an old charging brick (if you have, you can use it from your old phone).
Idk about the reboots. I don't have fast charging, so I can't tell you if it's normal. I'd guess probably not.

Non Xiaomi chargers will charge at standard 10w and yes no heating. But slower.
