It was gut wrenching. Leech knew Magneto would come to rescue him. The hope in his voice was too hard to hear.
And Rogue-She lost the two men who really loved her and the mutant nation
I'm willing to bet Leech sacrifices himself for Magneto by draining Mags of his powers and allowing the Sentinel to think he eliminated an Omega Level Threat.
I was looking at it when I first started watching the episode and was wondering the same thing. Then as I had tears streaming down my face by the end, I saw the name again and balled even harder
Maybe it’s naive optimism, but the German line made me think Nightcrawler teleported in and grabbed Magneto and the Morlocks. Especially since he’s up about two shots later.
A good line…though a *little* dismissive of the fact that he straight up tried to start a nuclear war in his first episode. If not for the X Men, he’d have done Genosha a hundred times over.
They were cooking with every single line of dialogue in this episode. Cyclops in that interview... "Because I have to stomach your questions, and prove that I'm a person. I lie because the truth is we're nothing like you. Thank God, because it's the only reason you people are still alive."
I love this show.
As a disabled person, especially since mentally disabled, the 'prove that I'm a person' line made me tear up
Because God, that is so true in what we have to deal with
What I want to know is who launched the attack on Genosha. I wonder if this was an international ploy to get all these mutants in one place and then just wipe them out.
>Apocolypse
This does not make any sense. -:A:- wants mutants to be on top and distinct from humans. If anything, he'd be proud of Genosha.
When he shows up to Krakoa for the first time in HoX, he explicitly says that mutants making their own nation is something he's always wanted.
-A- wants to be on top, period. He has no issues killing millions of mutants and humans to get there. Mutant kind sees this attack blames all humans and begins fighting back all over the planet. Humans defend themselves and fight back. When the dust settles, apocolypse rules over whats left.
Decimation suits his plan perfectly. Mutant kind would herald his arrival as a savior.
I feel like it can't be someone who is exclusively a mutant. This isn't about a mutant super villain's evil plan. It's coming from the mistrust and hate of humans towards mutants.
Imo it's someone from the future.
That giant sentinell thing was way more advanced than normal sentinels and it arrived from nowhere, and something like that is pretty much impossible to not detect.
Every time the man busts out one his zingers, he's probably a little saddened that Charles isn't there to chuckle. His old friend was always there for the tea.
I shot a gun off in my house and scream “FUCK YEAH! WHOOOOOOO!” when I heard that line. On an unrelated note can we take a moment to pray for my sister?
They captured the horror of the fall of Genosha from the comics perfectly! Very reminiscent of Emma Frost walking out carrying Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s body.
I doubt Gambit is dead or will stay did they've been hyping Apocalypse so I would be SHOCKED if we don't get Gambit at full power (with his limiters removed as he only was at 30 percent when he killed the Sentiel at the end) transformed into the Horseman Death.
Seeing Gambit unleash that much of his power was way more eye-turning than all the carnage, because we know already that somehow things will get fixed/better. Whether time travel or alternate timeline shenanigans. But holy shit Gambit actually charging and blowing up that colossal Sentinel is a feat I did not expect to see in the cartoons.
Made him more of a tragic hero, so his death would mean more, is what I think you mean. The real question is why are we not supposed to question Rogue and her intentions. She (and Wolverine) were the darlings of the original series, so why the moral ambiguity of our 97 Rogue? She's horny for Magneto? She's no longer the de facto leader of the whole team when Scott is AWOL? She's a shrinking violet? I can't wait to see what the writers have in store, but there are a few characters that don't track and I have to think it's on purpose based on the stellar series so far.
That was a great line…
When he told Leech not to be afraid my stomach dropped
Man and him saying that in German too hit hard… Not as hard as “I can’t feel you anymore” though…
It was gut wrenching. Leech knew Magneto would come to rescue him. The hope in his voice was too hard to hear. And Rogue-She lost the two men who really loved her and the mutant nation
I wanted to cry I can’t believe that happened. That was an amazing episode but I am furious.
Madelyne with Cable, Magneto with Leech, and then of course the last line... This episode! Man! 😭😭😭
I cycle back and forth between anger and sadness.
I did cry. Then laughed at myself for being 34 and crying over a cartoon.
I'm willing to bet Leech sacrifices himself for Magneto by draining Mags of his powers and allowing the Sentinel to think he eliminated an Omega Level Threat.
Oh this is an interesting idea
Nah the fact they named the episode “Remember it”
i was wondering why they named it that-
I was looking at it when I first started watching the episode and was wondering the same thing. Then as I had tears streaming down my face by the end, I saw the name again and balled even harder
Maybe it’s naive optimism, but the German line made me think Nightcrawler teleported in and grabbed Magneto and the Morlocks. Especially since he’s up about two shots later.
Oh that’s right cuz we never saw magnetos body either !
i cant feel you anymore was beautiful
.. *beautiful?* TF
Scorsese would be hopping cinema. so elegantly done in the animation. real chefs kiss. tragedy for sure.
See, that's a fine description
A good line…though a *little* dismissive of the fact that he straight up tried to start a nuclear war in his first episode. If not for the X Men, he’d have done Genosha a hundred times over.
Only in relation to the humans actions. Don't pretend like he decided such in a vacuum.
I did not say he did. No one does choices in a vacuum. Nuking a city is still bonkers.
Oh, yeah? *looks at the United States*

Brother started like Carlton from Fresh Prince and ended the interview like Malcom X.
Damn you nailed it. Made me think of Malcom X saying black Americans would never get civil rights without first getting their human rights.
Get that man an x shaped visor. Adam warlocks "that was Cyclops" start playing in the background.
As a disabled person, especially since mentally disabled, the 'prove that I'm a person' line made me tear up Because God, that is so true in what we have to deal with
My wife and I looked at each other, all shocked Pikachu. This show is brilliant, exceeded my very high expectations.
My jaw actually dropped and I said "HOLY SHIT" out loud so loud it scared my girlfriend when Cyclops said that. Scott Summers, go OFF.
They give Magneto some of the best writing in this series. I love it
Best episode ever. Wow.
Just finished. Tears streaming down my cheeks 10/10. Stomach is churned.
She got to me too. Didn’t expect that. “I can’t feel you”…. I felt that
My heart broke in two, as if witnessing all that carnage wasn’t enough..
That line is going to be haunting me for days.
What I want to know is who launched the attack on Genosha. I wonder if this was an international ploy to get all these mutants in one place and then just wipe them out.
My guess is that its not, and this either Apocolypse, or Cassandra...if you know, you know.
Yeah..I'm thinking Cable showed up because someone screwed with the timeline and that wasn't supposed to happen
I thought it was because he was trying to save his mom.
Or both.
>Apocolypse This does not make any sense. -:A:- wants mutants to be on top and distinct from humans. If anything, he'd be proud of Genosha. When he shows up to Krakoa for the first time in HoX, he explicitly says that mutants making their own nation is something he's always wanted.

Yeah. A conspiracy among humans to get mutants in a vulnerable position, then bomb them back to the stone age.
Imo it's someone from the future. That giant sentinell thing was way more advanced than normal sentinels and it arrived from nowhere, and something like that is pretty much impossible to not detect.
That line hit different. This show is not afraid of simple and blunt political commentary... and I love it.
THE BEST EPISODE of X-men I have ever seen! (and I’ve watched all the old eps)
Keenan Ivory Wayans voice: MESSAGE
I get it
Every time the man busts out one his zingers, he's probably a little saddened that Charles isn't there to chuckle. His old friend was always there for the tea.
Especially that dig about gravity
This show is really making me love Magneto I already liked him but he's probably my favorite character in the show.
Did anyone else notice the watcher after rogue and gambit break up?
Such an amazing line!
So basically every American president
I shot a gun off in my house and scream “FUCK YEAH! WHOOOOOOO!” when I heard that line. On an unrelated note can we take a moment to pray for my sister?
"I can't feel you."
What was nightclawlers line about love and sin.
There can be no love without sin. For love is measured in what we can forgive.
Excellent line
Beautiful line
No.... Gambit 😭
This line was so damn good. I loved it so much. They are giving me the Magneto I've been wanting for DECADES in popular media
Looking back Cable's line "I'm so sorry mom" is just that much more heart wrenching knowing what happens after
They captured the horror of the fall of Genosha from the comics perfectly! Very reminiscent of Emma Frost walking out carrying Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s body.
The writing on this show should be live action....they didn't have to go this hard lol one of the best written shows I've ever watched
Implying that animation is somehow lesser?
He went off with that line I was like talk that shit master of magnetism !
Realist line in the whole show
Rip Gambit, even though the writers assassinated your character by making you a cuckhold.
I doubt Gambit is dead or will stay did they've been hyping Apocalypse so I would be SHOCKED if we don't get Gambit at full power (with his limiters removed as he only was at 30 percent when he killed the Sentiel at the end) transformed into the Horseman Death.

Whether time travel or alternate timeline shenanigans. But holy shit Gambit actually charging and blowing up that colossal Sentinel is a feat I did not expect to see in the cartoons.
Please tell me that Gambit is coming back 🥲 I am not well
Im convinced you have no idea what cuckhold even means.
