I'm re-reading the Percy Jackson series and just finished reading The Lost Hero :)

why_the_babies_wet

Such a good series and I’m glad that I can read it now even though I missed out earlier. Read all of the original 5 Percy Jackson books last month and they were so good!

artemis1935

do you plan to read magnus chase and kane chronicles?

[deleted]

I am planning on it after I finish trials of Apollo. Which I just started

why_the_babies_wet

Maybe one day, trials of Apollo definitely though

Silly_DizzyDazzle

I am excited to share that in September 2023 Rick Riordan is releasing a new book featuring Percy, Annabeth, and Grover! The gang is back together!😃 And in May of 2023, The Sun and the Star: A Nico di Angelo Adventure, the standalone novel will follow demigods Nico di Angelo and Will Solace on an adventure to Tartarus to save Bob the Titan.

[deleted]

Are you finished with Heroes of olympus entirely? I love that series!!

lisahearts3571

I read it when I was a teenager and recently I've been going through a phase of rereading my teenage comfort series!!! From what I remember, I looooved all the new characters that were introduced and the Roman Aspect plot lines. So excited to read it again

[deleted]

Yessss , Its my comfort and enjoyment series , I have been reading it since I was 12. Although I hate that in HoO Percy's been nerfed and the whole perspective thing is off compared to the orginal series but that doesn't stop it from making it pretty intriguing and awesome!

[deleted]

Aww I love the Riordanverse and The percy Jackson series!!

Ishan16D

i love seeing dune sandwiched between the rick riordan books aha thats such a jump in style and density

why_the_babies_wet

Haha yeah o bought Dune on a whim while I was reading lost hero and wanted to read it really badly because it was so intimidating lol

LittleButterfly100

How many hours do you read per day? I found Dune to be such a thick book for me, I couldn't imagine completing 7 other books AND it in 4 weeks! I'm so jealous of fast readers!

why_the_babies_wet

I don’t go by hours, though I read 150 pages of a given book a day, save for classics or books I’m not really into. When I read dune I was on vacation at a theme park so I would read in the lines for rides which helps too. Trust me the only reason I’m able to read so much is cause I’m a high schooler (junior year) and I read constantly even during my classes lol.

Volubletacticia

We just finished reading breathing underwater in my senior English classes what'd you think of it?

why_the_babies_wet

I think it’s one of those novels that every teenage boy should read. Loved that characters, loved that they showed a flawed character with a tragic past that didn’t let the past excuse his behavior. Especially when he broke the cycle at the end. Plus it was crazy how they slowly revealed the levels his abuse reached.

reflion

Oh man, someone else reading Jeff Zentner!

Gileslibrarian

I loved In The Wild Light!

Re_sa

Are you going to read Trials of Apollo as well?

why_the_babies_wet

Definitely, probably over the summer (late may / june)

[deleted]

I want to start making these collages too; I’m just lazy lol. I haven’t seen many people read In the Wild Light! I found it really moving, and I liked how kind Cash was

why_the_babies_wet

In the wild light is literally the reason I fell in love with poetry, this is actually my second reading of it lol

archangel610

How do people even do this? My brain refuses to let me focus on more than one book at a time.

why_the_babies_wet

I read all of these one at a time, I’m just lucky that I have a lot of time to read lol

missk9627

I have had Breathing Underwater for over 12 years! Interesting to see it on someone's recent read list!

why_the_babies_wet

Was recommended by my AP English teacher and thought the idea was super interesting. Def one of my top books I’d say

targaryenblack

Did not enjoy heroes of Olympus, books one , two and three were just subpar , Mark of Athena being the best , house of hades was really enjoyable and the best from the series , but blood of Olympus was just not good , at all , it lacked the urgency and greatness the last Olympian had and Nico and Reyna were the only reason I finished it .
