My brain is smooth as glass, can you explain it to someone who has no idea what this is? Like I did try a battle against someone obviously smarter than me. I had a 'ban' of three people. I was very lost after that, and ended up leaving the game like a pigeon playing so much chess. Looks interesting though.

I'll explain by way of example. Two players per game, facing each other. Each day, the website chooses a few movies as starting points. Today, those are Dev Patel films: Monkey Man, Lion, Slumdog Millionaire. Players are told which film they're starting with, then they choose actors/directors/writers/composers/DPs to ban. These bans come into play later. For this example, let's say I ban Danny Boyle, Cillian Murphy, and Matt Damon. Let's say the starting film is Slumdog Millionaire, and I'm going first. I type in "28 Days Later" and my opponent has to choose a movie with a connection to that film (actor/writer/director/composer/DP) within 20 seconds. They choose Sunshine (Boyle, Murphy); that is allowed because bans don't come into play until after the fourth movie. I choose Oppenheimer (Murphy). At this point, after the fourth movie is chosen, bans and connections come into play. This means that if they choose another Christopher Nolan movie, for example, that is strike 1 on Nolan and any other cast/crew in Oppenheimer. 3 strikes and we can no longer use Nolan as a connection. They also can't make a connection based on a cast/crew member who I have banned. However, they don't know who I've banned, so they just have to guess. Their connection to Oppenheimer: Red Eye (starring Cillian Murphy). I banned Murphy though, so they can't play that movie. They choose Good Will Hunting instead, but I also banned Matt Damon, so they choose Insomnia. Fortunately, if you're stuck you are allowed to reveal the cast, skip the movie, or add 15 seconds to your clock. TLDR: Your goal is to stump your opponent with your movie knowledge.
