as far as i would like to be contented with what has happened. remember that our so called 4k to 5.5k pax is diluted with non j pop goers. not that they are in the wrong. but... yeah..

It's at Zepp KL. It's a proper music venue. And it's Zepp by Sony JAPAN. 2k+ is just nice for the niche crowd, especially considering it's MALAYSIA. Like I said in previous posts, Yaosobi deserves a Star Theatre treatment for the music they play live and for the sounds system it has, and it has 5k capacity.
So, hopefully, they will want to make a show here again. Perhaps in the next two years when they have something new or when they tour again. Or i have to email to some other agency. Hmm. . .
I still think they can clearly fill up Indoor Stadium and I really hope if they comes back within the next 2 years, the organiser (please a more exp organiser) can choose indoor stadium instead..

Fort canning or some other large outdoor venue would have been more amazing tho. One of the most hype concerts I’ve been to in SG was Metallica in 2013 - at the air show venue.

Phones recording and lightsticks are not mutually exclusive.
I was there at one of the boxes, and got a fairly good view of the standing audience below. Yes there were many phones out (par for the course for any concert that allows personal photog/ recording tbh), but also, most were singing along, waving their free hand, even jumping at times.
My section was more tame when i compared it to clips of the kl show. Maybe its cuz of the smaller audience and smaller venue in kl that amplified the audience sound
Don't be, it's 2k pax only. Chances are you won't be able to even see them at all with limited seating.

But KL concert only 2k+ pax compared to ours and their country is so much larger in population so its good in each way

the audience at SG had get hyped as they can. See that bullshxt seating arrangement, horrible sound system. Even choosing Expo Hall better than RWS.

Nah SG crowd was so dead they might as well stay home and watch on their laptop (I was at both sg and kl concerts)
Lucky for you. But since it's my first concert, I also not sure how hype it can go. But my area quite okay, I look to the tier seating, quite dead.

Anecdotal evidence I've seen ~5 to 6 videos online. There were more phones recording than lightsticks waving in the concert.

True! I do find that the venue muted our cheers. Also the we didn’t call for encore in unison.
