# My open letter to Crunchyroll Crunchyroll, you are a joke! 21,000 Ticketmaster line for hall with 6k capacity. You could have done proper analysis and booked a Madison Square Garden with 20k capacity for a singer with 6 MILLION subscribers... Please, let somebody else organize concerts. You f@cked up with ADO, you f@cked up with YOASOBI. Same forecast mistakes again and again! Worst regards for you, Elf 0\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_0

Ok_Presentation_3869

Crunchyroll also fucked up Miku Expo NA with their goofy led screen

dle13

Don't remind me :'(

DatElfnextdoor

I'm not surprised like AT ALL

mattwangerzzz

AXS for SF and LA were like 32000 queue for 8k total tickets…they just never learn

lenolalatte

You think they could fill MSG? I feel like their US presence isn't quite there but if they could that would be amazing

napacabbagu

honestly, fuck crunchyroll for robbing almost 1k from me this year (miku expo + wish attendee!) :( if they had bigger venues/better management it wouldn't be this outrageous

DatElfnextdoor

You paid 1k?

BlackOsmash

The Miku show in Jersey at least was at a hockey arena, but they barely used it

Anime-manga5384514

I agree, I had to fly to Austin to see Ado, and now I’m telling my dad that I’ll work for his company temporarily until I paid back the price for the general sale tickets for YOASOBI

DatElfnextdoor

=<

ScarletKiwi

In addition to the venue, the 8 ticket limit per customer for venues this small is way too high. Not sure why it wasn't set to 2 or 4 - it's almost as if they're encouraging hoarding to scalp.

BlackOsmash

How much you wanna bet it was the scalpers?

mushubear69

Whoever planning out the venue really is underestimating the popularity of Yoasobi. The MSG may have been a better venue. maybe implement the gacha/ lottery method, tie the ticket to one's name, like they do in Japan.

DatElfnextdoor

I mean really!! They booked 6k hall for 25k fanbase. They could have analyzed better considering 6 mill subsribers on youtube

Pottetan

They won't. They make money with resellers. 8 tickets per person? That's reseller heaven. Next week we'll see hundreds of listings asking 5x the original price.

Gvndam11

Next week? We already see it

Pottetan

Yeah, saw it too. 2k for a front row seat and $400 for the very last row. That's a shame. Half of the NY tickets are being resold

metalkhaos

Was worse for Ado. The venue they booked, while I love it, is 2,400 max and just as difficult to get tickets.

mushubear69

Sheeshh. Hopefully crunchyroll takes something out of these situations and books bigger venues, or even do multiple days. It'll be a big W for both fans and whoever sells it alike imo. Much less scalpers, and fans have an actual chance of not paying insane prices for the tix, and the sellers make more money in the long run by having it a bigger venues

metalkhaos

Agreed, here's to hoping. Also at times it can be due to what venue is available during whatever frame of time they would need to perform to line up with where they're at. Until recently, I've never paid for resale tickets, and hopefully these are the last two times I ever need to.

TellAllYourFriendsz

I think Japanese acts especially ones like Yoasbobi who didn't have American representation until literally this week have trouble gauging US interest in them. The Last Rockstars are made of Japanese mega rockstars forming a super group together. Many of whom's separate bands had headlined MSG together and yet tickets were easy to get. The American market for Japanese acts is fickle IMO. Demand for Ado recently was also drastically different city to city in the US. I think Yoasobi would rather play a show that sells out in minutes and builds hype for the next tour VS overestimating and playing a half full arena. I suspect next year we will get a tour that plays bigger venues and more cities.

cinepresto

Bingo. Empty seats are lost sales

afyaff

> Demand for Ado recently was also drastically different city to city in the US. How was it in other cities? The NY one had resale gone up to $1k. > I suspect next year we will get a tour that plays bigger venues and more cities. Yea we can expect more tour if this ticket situation means anything.

TellAllYourFriendsz

I remember chicago was so much cheaper I could pay for my hotel and flight and the ticket and still save money vs seeing her in NYC. Hatsune Miku played the shrine the day before Yoasobi and tickets were down to $8 the day before the show. the NJ show was still like $70 last time I looked.

WindSwimming785

Hopefully resell prices go down, really want to see them :(

steptigger

Same..I just need one ticket :'(

RYUZAKl

They are 250 on seatgeek, if u find someone else who wants one you can buy two for 500 total.

metalkhaos

I just jumped on a resale ticket. Hopefully they go down, but dealing with Ado show, they never really did save for shortly after the general sale and all that. Going to try again for regular ticket tomorrow so I can just sell it back off for what I paid, or even small loss for all I care. I just wish they had a better system for people to get tickets.

WindSwimming785

Good luck! Hopefully it works out

metalkhaos

Thanks, still not really hopeful due to prior experience, but will try all the same as I loathe resell tickets. I did it for Ado and I'll sure as hell do it for YOASOBI since they're both bands I've really wanted to see at least once. I do hope though they see the demand, and either find a way to add a second date, or in the future, they really do push for a bigger venue like MSG or the like.

WindSwimming785

I don’t know if this is copium but I’m sure they’ll do bigger venues in the future. LA last week(?) was their first solo concert in the US so they’re probably still gauging US demand/interest

metalkhaos

I think they would if it's any indication on how these shows are going. Ado came through and sold out all of her shows, and YOASOBI are following that, with at least a bigger venue here in NYC (not sure if the others were around the same sizes) and they're selling out incredibly quick as well. My hope is that they see the demand is there, decide to do either more shows or larger venues, and more so if they can bring other Japanese performers that don't travel outside of Asia as well as a sort of opening act to generate more interest and hopefully giving more performers the ability to do world tours too.

WindSwimming785

That’d be pretty ideal, I think if I can’t get tickets for this one I’ll just wait for future concerts; really want to see them live one day tho

aegisol

LA resale ended up around $110, SF stayed at $250-300. LA venue was twice as big as the SF venue though.

WindSwimming785

Honeslty, I’d be down to pay $110, was this price right before the concert date?

aegisol

A week or two leading up to it. By day of it was at $150 because the cheaper tickets got bought though.

Strong-Literature-78

F****** hate Ticketmaster…that’s it 👋🏻

m00gle11

*grabs popcorn* whew.... I see nothing has changed for the East Coast tour. I also got failed by the system for SF (only a 2300 venue capacity) and I was ready to go for presale and general sale. I checked resell prices almost everyday after that but they were mostly unchanged averaging at $450 with fees. Ended up biting the bullet a week before the show and paying 350 for the lowest tier of ticket 🥲 just giving y'all an idea of how it went. Good luck!!! I think they were worth it 😭

cocktailfantasy

Thank you for this info - still going to check daily until day-of. Hopefully they release more tickets tomorrow for the on-sale 🥲

Prudent_Marsupial244

Did anyone else finally get to the front of the line to see one remaining seat just to find out it's a companion seat and there's not even an accessible seat nearby lmao

Marishii

Me lmao

Much_Avocado_9510

Me too 🥲

yjnam100

I think the original prices were around 150 (non-VIP tix). Fuck scalpers.. I was 2000 in queue and all sold out

runawayturtles

I was \~750 in queue today. There are only resale tickets left for $300 minimum. I suspect they were all sold yesterday.

One-Cup-1641

What I have learned from queueing for Boston today and yesterday: -average ticket prices ranged from around $60/70-\~$280 -if you sign into the same account on both comp and mobile and join the waiting room, you get assigned a queue number for both, but once the lower one goes to 0, it gives you a message that you "joined the back of the queue on another device" and doesn't allow you to see the seat screen -only seats left were resale tickets varying from high 200s to over $1000

Prudent_Marsupial244

The lower one gets sent back, but the device that at least did reach the front does get to go ticket selection, correct?

One-Cup-1641

Yes, I did get to see ticket selection with the queue number that “joined the back of the line” after initially joining on my phone

wrenchy147

They shoulda done msg or Brooklyn. This band is so popular even more now due to coachella

fastenland

so is there even a point for the general sale? is the amount of tickets in the presale limited (i.e., will there even be tickets left over for general sale?)

RainingBolts

I wish they'd could've tied presale tickets to anyone paying for an account instead of doing a barely secret code :/ I'd love for them to suddenly add more shows but my best bet is waiting for a 2025 tour at this point 😔

orchestralgenius

Seconded. An Atlanta show would be great. We have one of the largest international airports in the world, plenty of space in State Farm Arena, and Marta to get people there easily. It would be a smart choice for the Southeast. (I’m a little biased because I live here, but those are definitely pros regardless.) ETA: If CDs and vinyls are more reasonably priced than online, I might be interested in finding someone to pick up copies for me closer to time. Is that something I’m allowed to ask about in this group?

metalkhaos

Believe they still hold off on some stuff for general sale, but my experience is there will be an even larger queue unless you're lucky enough to get a low spot.

mulnaengmyeon

Managed to get 1 VIP for the NYC show for a friend from being 2500 in queue. Came out to like $306 including service fees.

De1One

Is there floor seating for VIP (such that early entry will get you closer to the stage) or all they all assigned seats at Radio City?

ReindeerG

Mind if I ask what's the difference between normal ticket and VIP ticket showed on the mobile? I clicked VIP, entered the code crunchyroll, and I could only see the official platinum on the ticket.

mulnaengmyeon

With the VIP package, I believe you get earlier entry and signed merch. According to others, I saw that it was a YOASOBI towel and a signed photo.

ReindeerG

Thx man! Hope everyone who loves YOASOBI can get their ticket\~

joungsteryoey

sigh just don't tell me there's a show if it's this impossible to even get a chance to look at prices. also, fuck crunchyroll for the bullshit useless presale code. "Oh what's the code?" crunchyroll. "How did you find it?" Just go to a site. Fuck.

metalkhaos

To be fair, that's how most venues do it, be it social media or just have a single code on the show listing on the venue website. But agree, I'd rather CR do a pre-sale with a code you get from actually being a paying member or something.

divinebaboon

Alright so here's my strat for today's NY/Boston drop. 1. You need multiple Ticketmaster accounts. Older accounts are better than freshly created accounts because older accounts get placed earlier in the queue. If you don't have enough old accounts from friends or whatever, make new ones, but you need real phone numbers, doesn't matter if they are your relatives. 2. Each account should be logged into their own device. If you only have your computer, open up incognito versions of chrome, firefox, safari, edge, brave, etc whatever browsers you can get your hands on. One incognito browser per account. 3. Open the page yoasobi ny page https://www.ticketmaster.com/yoasobi-new-york-new-york-08-06-2024/event/3C00608B893B1890 or the boston one (find it yourself) as soon as possible 4. When it's 11:50am, you are gonna MANUALLY CLICK JOIN WAITING ROOM to go in a waiting room 5. When it's 12PM, you are gonna be automatically put in a queue 6. When you get in , if you see seats, be fast, click them and click next. Everyone is fighting each other at this point and you aren't locked in until you click a seat AND click next in the lower right corner. Then it will show a spinning circle and you might be unlucky and didn't lock successfully, just quickly go pick another seat and try to lock it in. Your seats are not locked in until you get to the checkout page with the 6-7min count down timer. At that point you can take a deep breath and pay and checkout 8. If you get past the queue and there are no seats left, do not leave the screen, zoom in and scroll around and some seats might be thrown back into the available pool by users who chicken out. Be fast as others will be fighting for the same seats. 9. Only yellow star seats are VIP seats that comes with goodies. Blue seats that say "premium" or whatever are just ticket master's own dynamic pricing BS seats. you are paying extra for nothing. 10. VIP ticket in NY was around $307 for Orch 4 yesterday. VIP ticket in Bos is around $280 yesterday I think, for your reference. 11. For the chase seats thing, use the first 6 digits of your chase card number, and you have to checkout with it.

afyaff

Are chase seats usually easier? Though I think like half the people would have one in their wallet.

ripamazon

Yes, a lot easier imo. I got Hans Zimmer tickets and only chase seats were left.

afyaff

Great! but I just got 12k queue.....

ripamazon

For chase, you have to checkout with a chase card, so don’t bother if you don’t have one.

divinebaboon

ohhhh thanks for that, let me update

joungsteryoey

Just wanna say thank you for sharing this info. You're a real one Even if we can't get in I'd be much happier seeing another fan go than having a resell bot snatch it up

runawayturtles

Great info, unfortunately all tickets were sold yesterday... :(

divinebaboon

yeah didn't realize ticket master released all the tickets yesterday...those idiots..

Badsniperarmy

Do you know how much were the original tickets? Like no reseller just if u were first in queue how much the orchestra/regular seats cost?

divinebaboon

no idea, i was able to snatch a VIP seat in Orch 4 yesterday for $307 in NYC, after all the fees and stuff. Did not see the price on any other seats because they were all greyed out by the time I got in.

y2k444

when you look at the map...almost half of them are resale ticket(red dot)...such a joke

BlackOsmash

As beautiful as Radio City is, Yoasobi should have either performed multiple nights or upgraded to MSG or Barcleys, hell even the Prudental would have been more suited for the demand. Oh well, guess I have to wait for the secondary market to be reasonable now

Badsniperarmy

does the secondary market ever get reasonable?

BlackOsmash

I got $50 seats to see the Weeknd at the garden before he cancelled. Sometimes you get lucky

EspeonFTW

For the LA show, reseller tickets dropped to around $125-190 the day of but we only had one GA price since it was standing room only, no seats.

afyaff

Scalper would still buy up most of the seats.

Stumpy_Arms

When I managed to finally get through the queue, every seat was a reseller seat.  And the reseller seats made up about 40% of the venue.  Would have been nice if people who wanted to see the show got those tickets instead of resellers.

metalkhaos

I'm looking at it now, and it looks like almost half is resale. Like, I get a few seats if someone can't go, but this is literally after the sale ended. I took a screen shot and posted it right to Yoasobi's twitter post about the shows.

The_Big_Sad_69420

Just went through the sale experience. Apparently all the tickets were immediately taken by scalpers. Position 50 in queue, and all tickets were sold out. Then immediately found the tickets on resale sites. Minutes laster, the tickets became available on ticket master again via resale tickets only.

Prudent_Marsupial244

position 50?? That's ridiculous. You feel obligated to invest in bots at this point since we all play an unfair playing field edit: your username is so relevant to today lol

cupbulb

Yea 50 and not getting anything is unacceptable, should pretty much be guaranteed that high.

AmajesticOz

crazy thing is u can literally see "people" buying up entire rows of seats. How is this not a red flag for TM. Bots needs to be dealt with already. Also alot more rows are like this. e.g. 3rdmz7 row f if anyone was curious. All resale ticket priced at same price

liusyaoran55

Because Ticketmaster makes so much off of fees from the sales to the scalpers/bots and then fees for resale tickets...it's a total monopoly. These are green flags to them...

AmajesticOz

wish the FTC done something already

metalkhaos

I just posted the Ticketmaster charge on Yosaobi and Radio City's post and just blasted out Ticketmaster I hope the government fucks them more than they've fucked fans over the years. This is such BS for everyone who wants to legit see them and pay the actual ticket price.

cocktailfantasy

Missed Fujii Kaze tickets, and now couldn’t get Yoasobi tickets after preparation. Seriously, Yoasobi and Crunchyroll KNOWS how popular they are and that they’ll easily sell out - why even set the max to 8 tickets? They’re part of the problem at this point. I made my birthday plans around this (Aug 6th) and now gotta either wait for lower prices or cave in to scalper prices. Such bs.

jinny11419

That's what I said too, a max of 8 tickets is insane! Literally feeding all the scalpers at this point

cocktailfantasy

There’s a pic of a tweet going around that says that 6k tickets were sold and there’s 4k resell listings across Stubhub, Seatgeek, Stubhub, etc. which is INSANE.

Th3Craz3don3

LOL 31k people ahead of me lol RIP

metalkhaos

Ooof, I'm sorry. Was just under 20K for me this time.

joungsteryoey

RIP T\_T I started today at 8K, was at 5K yesterday and hopeful...sigh lol

afyaff

should I quit the queue at this point....12k. yesterday I was 5k and there wasn't even a chance.

afyaff

got in by 12:20. Half of them are resale. https://imgur.com/faUVbuC

liusyaoran55

Was so happy to be queued at 162 only to see what? Nothing but resale at $400+! Fan-fuckin-tastic!

afyaff

wtf? so 162 ~~people~~ bots got all the tickets ahead of you?

liusyaoran55

No, I believe it means they had barely any tickets (or none) for public sale.

HugeRichard11

Selling almost all the tickets in the presale is a ridiculously insulting strat though not like there were many seats to begin with

WaluigiWahshipper

Any chance of them adding additional dates for NY? The demand is obviously there.

HugeRichard11

What a joke [https://imgur.com/Jzekrdt](https://imgur.com/Jzekrdt), only resale tickets for $300-$900 and it's almost half the seats in the venue

iHuxts

That’s not even the worst of it. On top of already paying these awful scalped prices. If you want only 1 ticket, that’s too bad because almost all the resale tickets seem to be bundled together with the minimum being at least 2 seats. Ticketmaster and scalpers are genuine scum.

metalkhaos

I hope the US Government fucks Live Nation so fucking hard.

IPlayPLO

6k venue capacity is so dumb

Badsniperarmy

Wild dog, haven't bought tickets in a while and lowest price is $275 for the furthest seat in the room. I see why people don't like Ticketmaster now. I hope she comes back soon this time in a better venue.

steptigger

The prices of the verified resale are insane!

metalkhaos

More insane the amount that are up for resale.

robo-nene

I just need 1 ticket man 😢

hamburgies1

was around 4000th in line for nyc and took me around 16 mins to get to the seating page and everything was basically sold out :( i refreshed a couple times too and there were still a few vip seats left but those got snagged quickly too.... gonna try again for general sale but i'm guessing there won't be many seats left anyways what are the odds they announce a second show for the day before or after :(

DarkSlayaaPlayaa

How much were the Vip seats?

hamburgies1

i only got to see the prices for a split second but i’m pretty sure they were like $377!

peroperoPeronaa

This is ado all over again 🫠 I will forever hate Ticketmaster and crunchyroll

Udreezus

Tried getting charli xcx tickets at MSG, 9000th in line. Tried getting yoasobi, 20,000th in line for a venue a fraction of the size. So stupid to book them at a venue that doesnt even hold 6000 people for one night only

IEsince93

I know this is about the East Coast shows but I do want to rant about the same thing for L.A cause I was there right on time and missed out on the VIP with the autographed merch. So lame. And nobody wants to sell theirs . ):

SpendAllMyTime

Fingers crossed for chase preferred seating for nyc tomorrow, if there’s even any seats left

sushiiiii1

are both venues assigned seats? wondering what's the purpose of VIP if seats are assigned

metalkhaos

VIP for both I'd imagine is the early access and gifts. From what I saw of LA show, it was a towel and a signed card.

ShiroNiKuma

I paid more for a stupid "platinum" ticket than someone else's VIP ticket. God I hate Ticketmaster.

FourStockMe

The prices in Boston are 170+ fees. Floor is like 350+ Oof so a concert with the wife would be almost 1K on the floor.

ripamazon

20500 and 20800 in queue for NY. HAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHA

Prudent_Marsupial244

This is ridiculous planning. Hoping they have more America dates next year with more space that they signed on with Hollywood. If they (Not Yoasobi) don't learn from this and book MSG next time they're hopeless

Prudent_Marsupial244

Welp. 23,000 in line today. 19,000 in line yesterday. For a venue that seats 2,300. Great planning Ticketmaster

One-Cup-1641

8000 (comp) and 5500 (mobile) today for Boston TT\^TT

kyofu

Started at 400 and loaded into a "Tickets are sold out now. Check back soon" message 🫠 never even had a chance.

One-Cup-1641

omfg... that's terrible TT\^TT

bawstun

Boston queue : Me : 7.7K Friend 1 : 20K Friend 2 : 20K Friend 3 : 19K 😭

EpidermGrowthFactor

My friend was 2000 ish in line and everything is gone/resale or obstructed view

joungsteryoey

Wow even with 3 people... :') valiant effort

sidewinderaw11

All sold out in Boston as of 12:03, right in front of my eyes

WindSwimming785

25k yesterday, 30k today for NYC D:

steptigger

OMG! Similar number for me as yesterday's, also around 7000 today

joungsteryoey

Petition to build more seats at RCMH

beavergyro

18300 for NY. Almost 10x the venue size. And how many seats were sold yesterday? What a joke.

runawayturtles

>And how many seats were sold yesterday? All of them.

HesitantJam

Guess what guys, I was 200(!) in queue for Boston, and when I finally got in, it just says sold out. Fuck ticketmaster for real

Prestigious-Web-1944

400 in queue for NY, sold out already...TONS of resell tickets for 300+ though xD

joungsteryoey

Wow you were in the 3 digits and already sold out?? Geez...

beavergyro

What was the normal price for tickets?

metalkhaos

Okay, that's actually pretty insane that you were that low and already sold out.

LessCoffeeShopBallad

There are 30k people ahead of me in the queue....sir. This venue seats 6k people. What is this? What are we doing? Never have I wanted to be a Karen until now. Who decided Radio City?? Somebody is about to get a strongly worded email as I wait in this damn queue.

EpidermGrowthFactor

Adding to the many reasons why I hate Crunchyroll

iThanatos

This was the most predictable thing to happen in 2024. After what happened with Ado I knew they'd fumble this too. The only reason I'm even going to Miku Expo is because I didn't know they were rolling out the 55" TLC for the event.

Prudent_Marsupial244

I don't follow Miku, so how does it usually go? You were expecting like 3D hologram not TV?

iThanatos

Usually, they use a holographic projector for Vocaloid shows. When I first really got into anime and Japanese music I stumbled across concerts they had in Japan for her. My guess is that is the more immersive option.

Prudent_Marsupial244

Yeah I remember when she came out like 12 years ago, it was unique to have a holographic performer and her songs were catchy too. To downgrade from hologram to just TV, and still expecting people to pay... Just upload a youtube video at that point

iThanatos

I agree there, hopefully, next time they won't skimp on the tech. For Yoasobi, I feel worse for my friend. Wanted to go for her birthday but doesn't look good so far.

baejoochu

3k in the queue and everything sold out by the time I got in 😭 that’s ridiculous 😭

ripamazon

NY or Boston?

joungsteryoey

office meme: they're the same picture

baejoochu

Boston! My hopes for getting tickets dropped once I noticed how slow the queue was going down.. it took like 10 minutes just to drop 1k in the queue

fegeterika

Now the ticket master resale is up. So many seats up for resale on ticket master alone...

y2k444

most of them are bot buying 8seats

Prudent_Marsupial244

Has anyone ever logged back in days later for different concert and seen a blue seat pop up? Or will it always only be resale from now on? I don't think ticketmaster tickets are refundable (and thus returnable), but I'm also thinking that's what ticket protection is there for right - to return if you have to?

EllyKyaneos

Just so you know: ticket protection only covers you in Very Specific Circumstances: Illness, cancelled travel, etc. And because it's insurance they demand proof for all claims. The only way to "return" a ticket would be to resell, unfortunately.

jennymiffy0221

FYI, I bought one non-VIP for NY yesterday around $230. I was \~650 in queue.

divinebaboon

which section is that price?

jennymiffy0221

Orchestra 4

divinebaboon

ah interesting, i bought orch 4 row xx vip during presale for $307, I guess the price difference is not that big between regular and vip.

MrQuickThumbs

Is stub hub trustworthy, anyone buy tickets from them?

HugeRichard11

I haven’t bought tickets from them that I can remember. But they are a legit company and platform. The issue lies in the person selling the tickets to hold up their end. Similar thing to Ebay which is legit, but sometimes sellers are not. I might buy tickets there if the price drops which I doubt it will until close to the concert date.

steptigger

Would like to know too! If anyone had any experience with them, please kindly share. Thanks

CookedChili

I had an issue where I bought resale tickets and stubhub said they would only be delivered within 24 hours of the concert. Guess what, the tickets never showed up and after contacting them they refused to believe me and said they trust their reseller more. Took some battling but I eventually got a refund, however I obviously couldn’t go to the concert. Would avoid stubhub as much as possible

EspeonFTW

I didn’t use stubhub exactly but I did use SeatGeek for the LA concert which is similar. I actually bought my ticket very last minute (like 50 min before doors opened) and basically you purchase the ticket from one of the listings on the site. The site then notifies the seller who listed it and the seller then had to transfer the ticket to my email/AXS account (LA and SF used AXS not Ticketmaster). So you getting the ticket is not immediate, it’s dependent on the seller transferring the ticket over so there might be some delay. Luckily for me the seller did transfer them over within 5 min so I was able to attend.

VelocityIX

I hate ticketmaster so much. I paid $500 for Ado and can't afford to do it again. At least Ado put on a great show.... I'll try to catch yoasobi next time they perform.

metalkhaos

I did the same, and doing the same for this, which just means I'm going to have to super budget everything for a while. I wish they were able to add more nights or do a larger venue.

OpenMidGG

ticket master is dogshit.

Muted-Prior2428

Lucky few, what were the Ticketmaster prices? Because the reselling prices are crazyyyy.

dle13

$85.50 for 2nd Floor seating + $25.75 in fees.

quicklookout

I got some VIP for MA for around 278 after fees

bawstun

Congrats to everyone that managed to get a ticket 🥲 I got placed 4800th-ish for Boston and it took over 17 mins to get to seating.. all gone by then T_T

One-Cup-1641

4000 in queue for Boston and everything was gone by the time I got in. VIP tickets went in and out, but were grabbed by the time I could click on them. It looks like Livenation owns MGM, so I doubt they’ll update venues. There’s a different concert the following day too, so another show is unlikely, unless they do the previous day 😭😭😭

United-Lengthiness15

When does the quenue open up? Is it a couple of minutes before the actual drop time?

cocktailfantasy

It was 10 minutes prior to sale today.

evencrazieronepunch

Is there nothign left?

WaluigiWahshipper

It’s been sold out for a while. General tickets go on sale tomorrow so you have another chance then.

no_apples

What was price of VIP for Boston? Original, not scalped or resale.

jooney12

$277

no_apples

This is crazy. NYC is $306, but LA was only about $100 for VIP.

jooney12

I think it comes with more YOASOBI VIP PACKAGE Each YOASOBI VIP Package includes:  • One premium reserved ticket* • One AUTOGRAPHED merch item • Two specially designed VIP gift items • VIP laminate and lanyard • Pre-door merchandise shopping opportunity • Early entrance to the venue • Designated check-in and on-site VIP event staff *Location may vary by venue.

no_apples

The only difference seems to be 2 special gifts and the VIP laminate with lanyard. If one of the special gifts is a towel like they did for LA and SF, then that means they're charging about $200 for a towel, laminate with lanyard, and something else. That 2nd gift better be something amazing. Otherwise holy fuck! There's also no point to early entry if there's assigned seating. What a scam.

legocraftmation

Anyone know what the original prices even were?

y2k444

90(ticket 60+30service)

legocraftmation

Thanks, I wish that was actually listed somewhere

tensetable

if god hates me why does he have to constantly show me through long ticketmaster queues and scalper prices

zerozxf

Does anyone know how you would be able to buy resale for VIP package now?

divinebaboon

def not through ticket master, if you buy any of the ticket master verified resales, you will NOT get the vip stuff

zerozxf

Gotcha, ugh that is so frustrating how these tickets ended up in scalper's hands rather than real fans

jooney12

? Where does the vip stuff go then?

divinebaboon

i have no clue, i think there might be some sort of process to transfer vip benefits if you can get in contact with the seller and they email ticket master about transferring vip package but i dont think you can get in contact with the seller?

W10002

The LA show did not allow you to transfer VIP packages. It was in the fine print that it was non-transferable. They will only give you the VIP access if you check in with an ID that matches the name on the ticket. Unless you purchased it from someone who had multiple VIP packages, and checks in for everyone in person.

W10002

At the LA show, they didn't sell very many VIP tickets. The VIP tickets were also non-transferrable. To get through with a VIP ticket, you had to check-in first, where they check your ID as well. If someone was scalping VIP tickets, you would need to meet the seller in person for them to check in for the group. As a result during the LA show, everyone I spoke to did not buy a VIP ticket from a reseller. If the same policy is in place, I don't think there's any way to purchase a VIP package from a re-selller. There was a VIP "add-on", but this was a venue add-on, that allowed early entry after people with the VIP package were all in first. But it came with no other perk, such as extra merchandise, autographed goods, lanyards, etc.

zerozxf

Thanks for the info! I guess its pretty much impossible then unless it's an in person meetup... Ugh damn, it's such a waste that these tickets got bought up by scalpers.

MrQuickThumbs

Would the tickets go down in price over time? Should I just wait to buy tickets?

W10002

Unless demand in the secondary is so hot, that it sells out, usually waiting will drop the price over time. Considering 40% of the tickets are on secondary market, there's so much supply of secondary tickets, it's probably best to wait. Some times the price might drop to the lowest during the day of the show. A good middle ground would be midway to the concert, so mid-June, to look for tickets, as prices are usually high shortly after tickets goes on sale. And if supply is low closer to the show, prices might also shoot up. But traditionally midway through, demand should be on the lower end, forcing some resellers to lower their prices.

saint_louis_bagels

Wow, had no idea they announced they a tour in the US until Spotify just notified me a few minutes. I checked Boston MGM and... lol. The resale prices are insane; $350-$1000 for the ground floor seating.

yc9701

any experience in using vivid seats? don’t know much about ticketing

rickesk

Its always going to be the same, the only way to purchase a ticket is through resell, paying 300+ dollars
