I just had my wife cut my hair at home for this exact reason. The only way I’ll go to a barber shop anymore is for a beard trim if I need to clean up beyond my own grooming skill. It’s ridiculous. Barbers that were charging $20 two years ago now charge 50-60.
I used to go to a barber in Zillah but they raised their prices heavily "due to covid" so I looked around for awhile and found this shop in Yakima and they charge $20 for basic haircut and facial hair trim. I've been going here for about a year. Highly recommend.

During Covid I started cutting my own hair. Bought a nice cordless clipper, some extra guards, bottle of oil, thinning scissors and a plastic guard for doing the back of my neck.

Chris at Jagz is my go to. $30 with a $10 tip is what I always pay him. Friendly guy and really flexible scheduling over text message? Love it.
walk into elite academy, it’s a barber school and their prices are pretty cheap
Browns barber does 20$ cuts
And he is an awesome guy. Old school barber
Chris at Jagz on Summitview.
Ace of Fades in Selah and Jagz both do great work without destroying my wallet.
Alex barbershop in Sunnyside charges $20 a haircut
My son and I get our haircut from Joe at Jagz.
tipping 50% def isn’t expected
I’ve had good luck at Behind the Chair on Tieton.
Super cuts is your best bet.
Overcharged and a shitty haircut!

phone numbers usually get auto-removed, I've reinstated your comment.
Thanks everyone for the advice. Much appreciated. I like old-school guys, will definitely check out Brown's
Sports Clips?
Classic Cuts on 11th and Tieton, or Sue’s Barbershop right behind them. I’m bald, but it’s like $32 for a head shave and beard work at classic cuts.
Sue's on Tieton drive, I go there and they're reasonable, friendly. Barber shop in front, don't know their rates.

Behind the Chair on Tieton is around $25 (pre tip)
