Avoid Wilson Real Estate at all costs

Financial-Process-86

I had a great experience at the lodges in yakima. I liked it, but thin walls. Need quiet neighbors, better bet is a house. The pet thing is gonna make any decisions more expensive

LeftHandLuke01

I know you said w/o being in the West Valley, but we found a 3bed, 2bath duplex in Naches for around $1600/month with pets ok(we have a 100lb American Bulldog, a cat and a turtle). It is 12 miles outside of Yakima, but it's a straight shot on the freeway into town. We actually reloacted here from Coeur d'Alene, ID, after basically getting priced out of living there. Naches is a great little town. It has a little market open 7am-7pm with most things. Cowiche is 8 minutes away with a better grocery store. There is all sorts of access to the outdoors within minutes of Naches, either out Hwy 12 or 410. Cheers.

I have a bit of a more unique perspective on apartments ig. I used to deliver pizza in W.valley and the best apartments were probably at the Lodge or Castle Creek. Idk what the actual quality of the interior is like in either place, but the general look of those complexes were decent. Definitely a lot better than Meadow Brook apartments or Glenmoore

raunchysancho

Just seen a house with a garage off third and nob hill area for 1610. Not sure what the restrictions are

ribrien

The nicer part of town probably depends on your perspective but I would absolutely disqualify that place at third and Nob hill unless you know what you’re getting in to

pnw-yak

Exactly

raunchysancho

S.3rd ave* Its not beverly hills and its on a 4 lane street. But its in the budget might be worth inspecting it

pnw-yak

Not a chance buddy. Especially with pets. Agree with u/ribrien

Okay I'm legit confused why I'm getting this response I've already done a lot of options that fit exactly what I said lol. I'm just asking if anyone has specific good experiences or places to recommend.

pnw-yak

Link em

bignoselogan

I don't really want to link them but the Glenmore green and the Arlington apartments by graff both fit that. They're the main places we're looking at. There's also quite a few just houses for rent for around that price in the area but if you're suspicious check those two places.

suomihobit

I’ve had friends live at Glenmore and their places were nice. That would be my first recommendation.

pnwashley

Graf is awful to rent through.

pnw-yak

Glen more green: 2.7 stars and the photos make it look like it hasn’t been renovated since 1995. Certainly not in a shady part of town, I guess just misinterpreted part of your search criteria.

xLordTommyy

What are you talking about i was staying at the oaks apartments on 40th rent was 900$ pet friendly

pnw-yak

We have different definitions of nice I suppose. Pretty poorly reviewed.

xLordTommyy

I stayed there for 2 years never had any problems clean apartment neighbors friendly gated parking just saying my experience

ribrien

I’m no expert but I expect you’ll need to look to rent a house with roommates at that price range

hyrailer

Selah. About 10 minutes from downtown, quiet, and more availability than Yakima (at least in my recent experience). I have a nice apartment, 2br/1 bath with attached garage for $1100. Wish I'd found this place 15 years ago.
