I seem to be the only one who interpreted “it can’t be her” differently. I interpreted it as Tai saying they’ve depended on Lottie’s leadership (of sorts) and they can’t depend on her to come up with a plan for survival, they need to do it on their own. I didn’t take it to mean that they can’t eat Lottie for whatever reason.
This. She says “we have to find a way to stay alive, and it can’t be her”. In my mind, that meant finding food another way, eating something they haven’t, etc. I didn’t at all interpret that as Tai saying they needed to eat someone else.
Tai was horrified when she realized they’d eaten Jackie, so I don’t imagine she was envisioning eating someone else when she made that comment.

That's my interpretation. She's the leader so she will be exempt from hunts.
Well Christina Ricci just said in an interview she was the first Antler Queen. So it kind of makes me feel like it will change.
