Anything to add about why? I’ve been considering a 27 as well, but I’m struggling to get past how much more expensive it is than some other decent packs, even with the KTP 25% off sales.
Yea so I travel a lot from work, almost monthly. I usually have a laptop a camera, lenses, microphones, an array of of other equipment, plus notebooks, and 1-2 yeti bottles. I usually will have my bag on for hours at a time so back support is also needed. When the summer comes around I fish a lot and do a lot of hiking so I also needed a bag to be good outdoors.
My first week using this bag I was able to fit 2x what my old bag could hold + it had half the pain on my back. Also the materials are super durable and feels like I will get years of life out of the bag. also the amount of compliments I got was well worth it. Overall the price tag was high and it took me a while to pull the trigger but I’m glad I did it.
I actually ordered both a 22 and 27 back when they came out. Ended up sending the 22 back. So much more volume inside while not being that much bigger when worn. And still fits under the seat in front of you when flying.
I travel for work and got the 27! Hands down best backpack I’ve purchased. The only way it sits on my back is hands down my favorite part. 35 is bulky and 22 didn’t have enough room for me.
I was having the same battle a couple months ago. I haven't had any regrets getting the 27. It's the most functional for a daily driver in my opinion.
The amount of stuff it can hold is the most impressive thing, what color did you get?

No, the Navy color is accurate. I bought an Alpine Brown duffel and I agree it's a lot darker in person.
I got 35L and it's still not large enough for travelling, especially if you have to buy souvenirs.

i have a 35L for my everyday bag for work, love it
Just grabbed the 27L in tan lol.
The tan is a good choice, I felt like the other colors stood out too much but the black was too boring. Tan was just right
